I was happy to see from this picture taken on Friday that Michelle O hasn't lost her sense of personal style.

I love orange in the summer. And really love this orange and white print dress (sleeveless, of course) on her, especially against her skin. She's glowing! And the vintage orange floral pin is the perfect accessory with the dress. (Should we all be stocking up?)

The dress, btw, reportedly is from Talbots, but I can't seem to find it on the company's Web site. Perhaps it already sold out?

You know Talbots was more than tickled when Michelle Obama opted to wear a Talbots rose print dress in a photo for the May cover of Essence magazine with her mother, Marian Robinson.

I have to admit, after all the Jason Wu, Michael Kors and J. Crew, I didn't really expect Talbots, which is traditionally more conservative rather than contemporary.

The cost of the dress is normally $169. But the Talbots Web site has it marked down 25 percent to $126.75.

I'm such a sucker for fun list-y product pages from retailers. So I was immediately drawn to this e-mail the other day from Talbots, introducing its new T-list. T is for travel, in this case. And today's list was appropriately picked for the rainy weather we've had recently, with a series of products to wear if you were heading somewhere like, say, London. The list also included a few items that weren't even sold at Talbots. Go figure.
