Warren picks Wolfpack

In the end, there was too much of a pull at N.C. State for T.J. Warren to play college basketball anywhere else.

Warren, one of the top high school basketball players in the country, chose the Wolfpack over Georgetown on Wednesday.

He joins his friends, top recruits Rodney Purvis and Tyler Lewis, in the Wolfpack's recruiting class of 2012, and joins the program where his father played 32 years ago.

T.J. Warren's dad played basketball for N.C. State and he would like to play with two prospects who have already committed to the Wolfpack, but said he's still "wide open" in terms of his college choices.

Warren, a top 40 recruit from Durham, listed N.C. State, Ohio State, Kansas, Florida, Arizona State, Miami, Wake Forest, Duke and North Carolina as schools of interest. All have offered scholarships except Duke and UNC, he said.
