"Dancing with the Stars": Every dance tells a story

Our "Dancing with the Stars" blogger Lenni G on last night's show:

It's Story Night on DWTS and we are looking for people who tell the stories well.

Up first, Jennifer and Derek (left) with a samba.  Loved Bruno's comment that Jennifer was the "sexy mistress of cougar town with mistakes."  The redo for the judges was perfect. The dance did tell a story. She is still really good.  Judges' scores - 8's from all for a total of 24.

Florence and Corky up next doing a really sweet waltz. As Len said, it was poignant and emotional, and, as Carrie Ann, said, her husband is surely smiling from heaven.  Judges' scores - 7's from Carrie Ann and Bruno and a 6 from Len for a total of 20.

There are reports that Susan Boyle, scheduled to perform on tomorrow night's elimination show, may be ill.

What to Watch on Sunday: Susan Boyle, The Jacksons, and Oprah with Obama

I Dreamed a Dream: The Susan Boyle Story (8pm, TVGuide Network) - A look at British singer Susan Boyle's surprising rise to stardom, hosted by Piers Morgan. In the special, Boyle sings "Cry Me a River" and the Rolling Stones song "Wild Horses." The show repeats at 9pm (and probably a thousand more times next week). TVGN is channel 0 on Time Warner Cable.

The Jack5ons (9pm, A&E) - Tonight's the premiere of the new Jackson reality series, which follows the lives of Jermaine, Tito, Randy, and Marlon. In the opening episode, the brothers announce their 40th-anniversary album, but news of Michael's death ends their dream of a reunion. Also, Jermaine gets angry when Jackie erases his vocals in studio editing. Oh ... snap. Check out Adrienne's review.

Christmas at the White House: An Oprah Primetime Special (10pm, ABC) - Oprah interviews the President and First Lady and gives us a look at Christmas preparations at the White House.

Keeping Up with the Kardashians (10pm, E!) - Season four begins tonight with Kris and Bruce Jenner learning of Kourtney's pregnancy and working through their hatred of Scott, the baby's father.

Also, Showtime has season finales tonight of Dexter (9pm) and Californication (10pm). "Dexter" has featured John Lithgow as the baddie this season, and tonight's finale should be excellent.

What to Watch on Wednesday: Obama, then Boyle

America's Got No Health Care: The Obama Press Conference (8pm) - The President's press conference on health care got bumped from 9pm back to 8pm because NBC refused to preempt "America's Got Talent."

America's Got Talent (9pm, NBC) - So, NBC didn't want to preempt their big Susan Boyle interview on their most successful summer show? Well, excuse me for being a bad American, but I don't blame them. I don't watch this show and won't be watching the Boyle interivew, but I can see where they're coming from. ABC is pushing their hit "Wipeout" from 8pm to 9pm.

Dark Blue (10pm, TNT) - It's that second episode of "Dark Blue" that we swore we would watch before deciding if this show is good or not. It's Dylan McDermott, so it gets the benefit of the doubt. Tonight, Carter (McDermott) has to get $100,000 to save Ty's cover and his life.

Susan Boyle now in leather and heels

You knew it was just a matter of time.

Susan Boyle, who has become a worldwide sensation after her appearance on the Britain's Got Talent television show (the American Idol mothership), has gone for the (sorta) glamorous makeover.

Boyle's -- I hate to say "gimmick," but -- gimmick, was that she was plain, unassuming, and a little older than the typical contestants on such shows. (She also made headlines for saying she had never been kissed, a statement she has since claimed was just a joke).

But now the Plain Jane singing sensation is sporting. . .

Susan Boyle: "I Dreamed a Dream"

I wasn't going to bother posting this, since I figured everybody on earth with electricity had to have seen it by now. But I've talked to a couple of people today who somehow missed it -- and trust me, you really need to see this. Prepare to be moved, amazed, thunderstruck; words like that. Seriously...

ADDENDUM (6/2/09): Sadly, it ends badly.
