Remember that surprise freebie I hinted at in Sunday's paper?

Be sure to check your Parade magazine. You'll find a coupon for a free Cherry Berry Chiller peeking out of the top of the magazine.

This is a new frozen drink McDonald's is offering. These typically cost $2 and up so a great freebie.

There's also a coupon for $1 off a medium or large frozen strawberry lemonade, frappe or fruit smoothie.

The News & Observer's coupon database has been updated with all of Sunday's new coupons.

The home-delivered Final Edition of The News & Observer contains two inserts -- one Smart Source and a Red Plum -- for a total of 134 coupons with a face value of nearly $150.

Be sure to snag the coupon for a FREE Cherry Berry Chiller from McDonald's that's in the Parade magazine, along with another coupon for $1 off a medium or large McCafe frozen strawberry lemonade, frappe or smoothie.

This Sunday's home-delivered Final Edition of The News & Observer contains three inserts -- one Smart Source, one Red Plum and a rare mid-month P&G in honor of Mother's Day.

There's a grand total of 146 coupons with a face value of $196.

That's before you double the first coupon, of course, which we have the opportunity to do every day of the week at Kroger, Harris Teeter and Lowes Foods. And let's not forget the prospect of possible of Triples at Harris Teeter coming up.

Be sure to take note of the 50-cent coupon on Gain dish liquid in the P&G insert. That will score you FREE dish liquid at Harris Teeter, where it's on sale for under $1 this week through Tuesday evening.

Starbucks has got a new product and the company wants you to try it for free.

Starbucks Refreshers is a 12 oz. fruit-flavored canned beverage and there's a coupon for a free one in the Pepsi Moments to Save coupon insert inside most Sunday newspapers.

Walgreens has these on sale this week for $1.49 but most of the drugstores and groceries should stock them. The maximum value of the coupon is $2.39.

Big news for coupon clippers this weekend.

Look for four regular coupon inserts -- one Smart Source, one Red Plum, the May P&G BrandSaver  and the Pepsi Moments to Save -- in this Sunday's home-delivered Final Edition of The News & Observer.

Also be on the look out for a bonus Target insert containing 21 coupons good only at Target.

After a few one-insert weeks, it's a bit of a thrill to have a plethora of coupons from which to pick and choose.
