What to Watch on Friday: Longoria and Lopez host ALMA awards on NBC

Shark Tank (8pm, Friday) - Pitches include an app for cheaters, surf-inspired exercise equipment and a personal style system for men. Also, an update on customized protein bars from Season 2.

2012 ALMA Awards (8pm, NBC) - Eva Longoria and George Lopez host the annual American Latino Media Arts Awards honoring Hispanic achievement in entertainment. Christina Aguilera receives a special award.

Boss (9pm, Starz) - Kane's maneuvers with the housing project lead to looting and rioting. Later, he secretly attends an alternative clinic for treatment.

Boston Metal (9pm, National Geographic Channel) - Documenting day-to-day life at Eco Recycling Systems, a successful family-owned and operated scrap-metal recycling yard in Brockton, Mass.

Haven (10pm, Syfy) - In the third season opener, Nathan and Duke look for Audrey. Meanwhile, the town experiences its oddest events ever, which may lead to more disappearances.

Strike Back (10pm, Cinemax) - Knox extricates a political leader from a Zimbabwe prison, and the unit tries to catch up with the escapee by tracking his activist daughter.

What to Watch on Friday: 'Shark Tank' returns on ABC

Shark Tank (8pm, ABC) - Like a gift from heaven, "Shark Tank" returns tonight for its fourth season. Products pitched tonight include a ticketless coat-check system, a belt buckle that holds beverages, and a solution for bedbug infestations. Also, an update on an eyeglass holder from Season 3.

Cyberstalker (8pm, Lifetime Movie Network) - A movie about a woman who tries to escape a stalker who murdered her parents many years earlier.

Boss (9pm, Starz) - As Kane's symptoms begin to spiral out of control and he has problems telling the difference between his hallucinations and reality, the corruption sweep endangers his political power and his hold on city council.

Law on the Border (10pm, Animal Planet) - Evidence of human trafficking is sought by officers, who help the U.S. Border Patrol rescue undocumented immigrants and uncover a trafficking network on a tip from an injured immigrant.

Real Time with Bill Maher (10pm, HBO) - Bill Maher's guests include John Legend, Bob Costas, John Feehery, Chris Hayes and Zanny Minton-Beddoes.

Strike Back (10pm, Cinemax) - Stonebridge seeks revenge on Craig Hanson after he turns up in Cape Town, South Africa.

What to Watch on Friday: Kane gets swept away on 'Boss'

The Preacher's Daughter (8pm, Lifetime Movie Network) - A minister's estranged daughter is forced to return to the strict religious home she was raised in and confront the troubled relationships that led her to leave four years earlier.

Law on the Border (10pm, Animal Planet) - Smugglers use air cannons to launch drugs over the border fence between the U.S. and Mexico.

Boss (10pm, Starz) - Kane's increasing infatuation with his new aide Mona (Sanaa Lathan, left) leads him to get swept up in her enthusiasm for a housing redevelopment project.

Strike Back (10pm, Cinemax) - Scott and Stonebridge prepare for an attack by Al Qaeda while holed up in an Algerian farmhouse with the nomad leader and the wounded courier. Meanwhile, back at headquarters, Dalton is called on the carpet for her relationship with the courier.

Lost Girl (10pm, Syfy) - The Ash reacts to the threat facing him, and Bo makes a life-threatening choice as those close to her suffer terrible injuries.

Eden Eats (10pm, Cooking) - Eden travels to Phoenix and stops at an Indian street festival. Also, a trip to a Native American reservation and a visit with a Lebanese butcher.

What to Watch on Friday: New seasons of 'Boss' and 'Strike Back'

Teachers Rock (8pm, CBS) - A tribute to educators features performances by Garth Brooks, Josh Groban, Carrie Underwood and Dierks Bentley, and recollections from from Meryl Streep, Morgan Freeman, Viola Davis and Miranda Cosgrove. Also, a look at scenes from an upcoming film about teachers, "Won't Back Down," starring Viola Davis and Maggie Gyllenhaal.

NFL Exhibition: Dolphins at Panthers (8pm, ABC) - Another Carolina Panthers exhibition game. Enjoy.

Boss (9pm, Starz) - In the Season 2 premiere, Mayor Kane's legacy is cemented with splendid groundbreaking ceremonies for the updated airport terminals. Kane's political future is on the rise, but his secret health problems continue to be an issue. Kelsey Grammer, right, won a Golden Globe for his portrayal of Chicago mayor Tom Kane in Season 1.

Strike Back (10pm, Cinemax) - In the Season 2 premiere, Scott heads to Kenya to facilitate the transfer of a Libyan seeking asylum, but he winids up in the  middle of a kidnap plot that lands him and three hostages in the hands of a warlord in Mogadishu. A second new episode airs immediately after at 10:30. Incidentally, new music from Bob Dylan's latest album "Tempest" are premiering in the new season. The song "Early Roman Kings" already debuted in a music video featuring scenes from "Strike Back," and the song "Scarlet Town" will premiere over the end credits of tonight's episodes.  

Lost Girl (10pm, Syfy) - Trick and Kenzi try to save Bo from the fallout of a steamy night gone wrong, and Bo asks Trick uncomfortable questions about her origins.

Three Days to Open with Bobby Flay (10pm, Food) - Bobby helps two women who put their life savings into a rock-and-roll-theme cupcake shop in Asbury Park, N.J. The women have little baking experience, so it sounds like a solid idea.

What to Watch on Friday: ALMA Awards and a CW catch up

Ringer (8pm, CW) - It's a good time to catch "Ringer" and "The Secret Circle" (9pm) if you missed those premieres earlier this week.

2011 ALMA Awards (8pm, NBC) - Eva Longoria and George Lopez host the 16th annual American Latino Media Arts awards honoring Hispanic achievement in entertainment.

Unleashed by Garo (9pm, Sundance) - Garo designs a dress for a woman who lost more than 100 pounds, power suits for a recovering alcoholic looking to rejoin the workforce, and a party dress for the owner of a performance agency who is attending a chic event.

Roseanne's Nuts (10pm, Lifetime) - Roseanne hosts a luau to launch her nut business, and although the men want to hunt a pig on her farm and cook it for the celebration, Roseanne isn't sure she wants to allow that.

Haven (10pm, Syfy) - A local teen goes missing in Haven's woods while a murderer is on the loose, and the search party finds evidence to support the existence of a supernatural creature in the forest.

Strike Back (10pm, Cinemax) - A global arms dealer with a link to Latif is recruited to help Scott and Stonebridge recover a kidnapped English doctor in Darfur.

What to Watch on Friday: 'Rat Busters' get Animal Planet showcase

Friends with Benefits (8pm, NBC) - The gang go to Louisiana to support Sara while she attends her sister's baby shower following an argument. Meanwhile, an intoxicated Aaron gets separated from the group during Mardi Gras celebrations and finds the courage to try something new.

Rat Busters NYC (10pm, Animal Planet) - If you're seeing rats / running through your bed / Who ya gonna call? Rat Busters!  This new six-part reality series follows colorful New York City exterminators Jimmy Tallman and Michael Morales as they fight infestations of rats, roaches, raccoons, bedbugs, and pigeons. In tonight's premiere, a Bronx business and a Brooklyn musician are in danger of being overrun by pests.

Strike Back (10pm, Cinemax) - The section tracks Latif to South Africa, an IRA mercenary targets a weapons-system designer, and Scott switches roles with a computer hacker.

Haven (10pm, Syfy) - A drowning case exposes a secretive family compound on the outskirts of Haven, from which children have disappeared under mysterious circumstances.

Heat Seekers (10pm, Food) - In South Carolina, the chefs sample spicy oyster shooters, Sriracha donuts, and jalapeno mac and cheese.

Rhett & Link: Commercial Kings (10pm, IFC) - The guys do an ad for a Las Vegas company that provides designated drivers for inebriated customers.

What to Watch on Friday: Cooper trial on 'Dateline,' Animal Planet gets 'Tanked'

Dateline NBC (9pm, NBC) - This week, the NBC news magazine show takes a look at the murder of Nancy Cooper of Cary. Nancy's husband Brad was convicted of first-degree murder earlier this year. 'Dateline' is a two-hour show and the Cooper segment is supposed to begin just before 10 p.m. Read more about why 'Dateline' picked this case to spotlight.

Tanked (9pm, Animal Planet) - In the premiere of this new reality series about a family-owned Las Vegas company that specializes in building custom aquariums, owners Wayde and Brett try to avoid sleeping with the fishes when they design a 1000-gallon, mob-inspired tank. Meanwhile, Wayde's wife Heather is persuaded to walk among sharks, and the team works on a phone booth aquarium for a homesick New York family.

High Voltage 2010 (9pm, VH1 Classic) - Asia, Foreigner and UFO perform in London's Victoria Park. Taped in July of 2010.

Strike Back (10pm, Cinemax) - An Indian general decides to hold off on the assault on a New Delhi hotel that has been under siege when he learns that Stonebridge and Scott, who have ID'd Mahmood, are embedded in the place.

Haven (10pm, Syfy) - A single day keeps repeating for Audrey, who finds a deadly accident linked to the phenomenon.

Thumbs (10pm, MTV) - Competitive texters are profiled as they prepare for and compete in the 2010 National Texting Championship in New York City.

What to Watch on Friday: 'Dateline' examines Fort Bragg murder

Flashpoint (8pm, CBS) - A new recruit joins the team on Valentine's Day, which is notorious for hostage and suicide sitations.

Dateline (9pm, NBC) - In the second hour of this two-hour "Dateline," Keith Morrison explores the murder of Fort Bragg Army Special Operations officer David Shannon in Fayetteville in 2002.

Karaoke Battle USA (9pm, NBC) - The series premiere of a reality competition in which karaoke singers from across the nation compete to win a recording contract and a shot at the Karaoke World Championships. Tonight, contestants compete at the House of Blues in Las Vegas.

Whale Wars (9pm, Animal Planet) - In the Season 4 finale, Watson claims a major victory after 30 years of fighting, while he and the crew reaffirm their commitment to stopping the whaling fleet. At 10, Lisa Ling interviews Paul Watson and the other Sea Shepherds about the success of their 2010-11 campaign.

Strike Back (10pm, Cinemax) - A new series about an ex-Delta Force operative, Damien Scott, who teams up with a British antiterrorist unit to track down an international criminal. In the first episode, British sergeant Michael Stonebridge recruits help from Scott when an agent is kidnapped by a Pakistani terrorist. The two then uncover clues to a possible terrorist attack at a New  Delhi hotel and race to foil it.

Haven (10pm, Syfy) - A wedding at an isolated estate turns deadly for the guests when the site becomes sealed off and something attacks from within.
