The old Kings Barcade certainly had its funky charms; but it's got nothing on the vastly superior new Kings that opened a few months back on Martin Street in downtown Raleigh. And one of the coolest things about the new spot is a piece of decor put together by Kristin Matwiczyk, a local artist who also waits tables at a nearby restaurant. Putting knowledge gleaned from a past job in a puppet workshop to good use, Matwiczyk built an amazing likeness of a couple of legendary hecklers.
