With the threat of Hurricane Irene looming, a final decision on whether to play Saturday’s St. Augustine’s College’s football opener against Virginia Union was scheduled to be made Saturday morning, school officials announced today.

The game is scheduled to start at 2 p.m. in Richmond, Va. Online updates on the game-day decision were scheduled to be posted Saturday on saintaugfalcons.com and the official university website.
 

The next two weekends will be busy ones in the Triangle as our local universities send their latest batches of graduates out into the world.
