Dancing with the Stars: Aaron Carter doesn't cry this time

Once again, the Happiness bloggers elected (begged) my mom to be our Dancing with the Stars correspondent. After each show, she calls me with her report...

Last night the show introduced four new dances: the Two Step, the Charleston, the Lambada, and the Bolero. And they allowed lifts. Big night!

Keep reading for the recap and the prediction for who will be going home tonight.

The Amazing Race: Passports to nowhere

Well, we already knew from CBS promos that a team was going to lose its passports.

And then subsequent promos even revealed which team it was. So I guess the suspense was finding out what happened after that.

I was definitely bummed.

Drop Dead Diva: The winning season finale

The first season of Lifetime's "Drop Dead Diva" has been delightful.

Brooke Elliott's Jane proves that being plus-size character on TV doesn't have to be all about being a preachy symbol or a representative from some kind of special group.

Jane is smart and sexy and worthy of the desire she's earning from suitor Tony. And, it seems, from Grayson.

Biggest Loser: The kitchen is closed

Our Biggest Loser correspondent, The N&O's Michelle Aldrich, gives us her recap of last night's show.

After last week's elimination I was expecting a more melodramatic opener, but week four started with the orange and purple teams talking privately about what went down. In a nutshell, Shay isn't going to trust Raleigh native Tracey (she's a liar!) etc. etc.

When Jillian and Bob learn how the red team went home, they admonish the group that everyone needs to be here, no one should be sacrificing anyone, and they need to fight for themselves!

Dancing with the Stars: Injured Tom quits delaying the inevitable

Once again, the Happiness bloggers elected (begged) my mom to be our Dancing with the Stars correspondent. After each show, she calls me with her report...

"Dancing with the Stars" isn't the only place with backstage drama
going on. My mom/correspondent was a little tired and cranky Monday night and tried to quit her unpaid job here on the blog. Fortunately, she decided if Tom DeLay can dance with two broken feet, she shouldn't be a quitter either.

Then Tom DeLay quit. And surprisingly, Tom wasn't the only dancer to exit last night...

How I Met Your Mother recap: Robin 101

When you're floundering in the early stages of a romantic relationship, how cool would it be if your partner had an emotionally secure ex willing to share all the personal do's and don'ts to avoid fights and to keep your partner happy? OK, maybe that would be a bit creepy in the real world, but in sitcom land, that's Comedy 101.

So with Barney still struggling to adjust to his new boyfriend role with Robin on Monday's episode of How I Met Your Mother, no one blinks when he turns to his pal Ted, who dated Robin for a year or so, for a class on dating her. The "no one blinks" goes especially for Robin, who fixes her ex- and current boyfriend with her patented wide-eyed stare of anger after she discovers Barney's secret Robin notebook.

Dancing with the Stars: Who needs a "check-up from the neck up?"

Once again, the Happiness bloggers elected (begged) my mom to be our Dancing with the Stars correspondent. After each show, she calls me with her report...

It was a crazy night. Tom Delay danced with two broken feet, Donny Osmond kissed a man, Aaron Carter dressed like a girl, and Len got into a fight with Bruno.

Keep reading for my my mom's recap of the dances -- the good, the bad, and the ugly -- and find out who she thinks should go home this week.

The Amazing Race: The lion is the king of the jumble

We're quickly down to 10 teams in Vietnam and there's another first in AR history.

The pit stop, which is a barge, moves to a secret location and drops the teams off. Their first clue sends them to Ho Chi Minh City, and the Golden Dragon Puppet Theater where they must take the clue from the mouth of a water dragon puppet.

Dad and the pink-haired son are the first to leave.

Dancing with the Stars: "It was time."

Once again, the Happiness bloggers elected (begged) my mom to be our Dancing with the Stars correspondent. After each show, she calls me with her report...

Tuesday night's results show was just one hour long, and while someone did get eliminated, most of the time was taken up with guest stars.

"They had Joss Stone," my mom said. "She never wears shoes. Why doesn't she wear shoes?"

Does someone know?

The Good Wife: Forgive and forget

The case at the center of last night's episode of "The Good Wife," had parallels to one of our area's most infamous recent incidents.

Yep, the Duke lacrosse case.

Even the characters on the show acknowledged as much, in explaining their trepidation in accepting the civil suit.

It was a clever way of the writer's noting that they were using the real case as a jumping off point.
