Need "The Rules of Golf"? They're as close as your smart phone

Golfers needing answers must thumb through the pages of "The Rules of Golf" no longer. Nope. Now, there's an app for that, too.

The United States Golf Association recently
launched its official iPhone and iPod touch application for the 2010-11
editions of “The Rules of Golf,” “Decisions on The Rules of Golf” and
“Rules of Amateur Status.” BlackBerry and Google Android versions will
be available later this month, the USGA said.

The Rules of Golf App, with a simple search function, provides instant
access to "Rules" and "Decisions." Users also can e-mail questions to
the USGA directly from the application.
