What to Watch on Tuesday: Robin Roberts interviews Scotty McCreery

Vietnam in HD (9pm, History) - This three-part series explores the history of the Vietnam War that includes restored rare footage. Part one begins with the arrival of U.S. Combat forces in 1965 and the Battle of Ia Drang.

Raising Hope (9:30pm, Fox) - A 13-year-old kid's obsession with Sabrina drives Jimmy nuts, and Burt and Virginia wonder how to get Maw Maw's gold tooth back after she swallows it.

All Access Nashville (10pm, ABC) - Robin Roberts visits with a bunch of country music stars, including Scotty McCreery, who Roberts spent time with in Garner. She also talks to Kenny Chesney, Faith Hill, and Keith Urban, in addition to Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush of Sugarland, who are interviewed at the site of August's Indiana stage-collapse tragedy.

Parenthood (10pm, NBC) - Seth stays with Amber after his release from rehab, but the arrangement soon wears on her. (If someone had told me in previous seasons that Amber would one day be my favorite character on this show, I'd have questioned their sanity). Also, Crosby worries about Jabbar having a new father figure when Jasmine gets serious with her boyfriend. (If someone had told me last season that I'd still be hating Jasmine this season, I'd have totally believed them).

Sons of Anarchy (10pm, FX) - Jax and Tara taste life after SAMCRO but discover just how hard it is to really escape it.

Covert Affairs (10pm, USA) - Annie tries to turn a money launderer's wife (Nina Kronjager) into a CIA asset while hunting down her husband. But the woman catches Annie following her and demands to meet with Arthur, whom she met when she was a Stasi agent.

What to Watch on Tuesday: 'Prayer for a Perfect Season' on HBO

NCIS (8pm, CBS) - A Navy lieutenant is murdered by forced overhydration, and Gibbs meets Ducky's new love, played by Cheryl Ladd.

Prayer for a Perfect Season (9pm, HBO) - A look at the 2010-11 boys' basketball season at St. Patrick's High School in Elizabeth, N.J. The documentary follows Kevin Boyle and his players on t heir trek towards a climactic, winner-take-all showdown against archrival St. Anthony's of Jersey City. The film includes comments from players and coaches.

Frontline: Death by Fire (9pm, UNC-TV) - Frontline examines the case of Cameron Todd Willingham, who was executed in 2004 in Texas for the arson deaths of his three children. Included here is new science that indicates the fire may not have been an arson.

Body of Proof (10pm, ABC) - A famous equestrienne who ran a vocational program for prison inmates is murdered, and the prime suspect is a convicted felon and former drug addict (Crystal Bowersox). Meanwhile, Megan's ex-husband is upset to learn that she took Lacey to a crime scene, but Megan becomes equally peeved when she finds out that Lacey is being dragged along on her father's vacation with his new girlfriend.

Sons of Anarchy (10pm, FX) - SAMCRO must put off an important vote to deal with an external threat.

What to Watch on Tuesday: Bemoaning the state of manhood

NCIS (8pm, CBS) - A murder investigation of a Coast Guard officer leads to a Lebanese family seeking asylum in the U.S.

Man Up! (8:30pm, ABC) - Three men in their thirties navigate -- and bemoan the state of -- modern manhood. It's not good, but it's not as bad as Tim Allen's bemoaning of modern manhood at 8pm. Here's more on tonight's premiere.

Frontline: Lost in Detention (9pm, UNC-TV) - Maria Hinojosa reports on U.S. immigration policies since President Obama took office. Included: the record number of deportations (about double the rate of the Bush years); claims that families have been unfairly separated; Republican criticism; and the growing backlash among Latino voters.

Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel (10pm, HBO) - Segments include a profile of NBA Hall of Famer Jerry West and his battle with depression, a report on obsessive runners, and revisiting a 2008 story on sports in polygamist communities.

Parenthood (10pm, NBC) - Adam and Crosby try to impress Cee Lo Green (in a cameo) with their new studio and Drew takes steps to advance things with Amy.

Body of Proof (10pm, ABC) - Megan clashes with a seasoned arson investigator and complaints about the situation lead to more uneasiness between her and Kate.

Sons of Anarchy (10pm, FX) - SAMCRO deals with the fallout from a death threat against Tara.

What to Watch on Tuesday: Buffy's back in 'Ringer'

90210 (8pm, CW) - In the Season 4 premiere, Naomi adjusts her lower social status at college while also digesting the news of her pregnancy. Also, Adrianna wants to redeem herself and Dixon needs a place to live.

Ringer (9pm, CW) - In the series premiere, ex-stripper Bridget (Sarah Michelle Gellar), a recovering drug addict slated to testify in a murder trial, flees protective custody and reunites with her wealthy twin Siobhan, who soon disappears while on a boating excursion. In a desperate attempt to avoid the feds and mobsters now hunting her, Bridget passes herself off as Siobhan, but soon learns the new role hasn't made her safer. Read Adrienne's opinion.

Parenthood (10pm, NBC) - In the Seaon 3 premiere, Sarah approaches her 40th birthday and turns to Mr. Cyr for support. Meanwhile, Adam worries about providing for his family and considers joining Crosby in a business opportunity.

Jacqueline Kennedy: In Her Own Words (10pm, ABC) - In audio interviews conducted by historian Arthur Schlesinger Jr. not long after President John F. Kennedy was killed in November 1963, Jacqueline Kennedy talks about her life in the White House, her marriage and family, and the events faced by the Kennedy administration. Her daughter Caroline Kennedy is also interviewed by Diane Sawyer.

Sons of Anarchy (10pm, FX) - Clay makes a deal with the Mayans that won't be easy to sell to the club, and the Russians aren't exactly in his corner, either.

What to Watch on Tuesday: Christmas at the Rock, 'Anarchy' finale

Christmas in Rockefeller Center (8pm, NBC) - Natalie Morales and Al Roker host the 78th lighting of the Christmas tree in Manhattan. Scheduled performances by Mariah Carey, Sheryl Crow, Josh Groban, Jessica Simpson, Susan Boyle, Annie Lennox, Katherine Jenkins, Charice, Kylie Minogue, and Jackie Evancho.

Glee (8pm, Fox) - The glee kids head to Sectionals to compete against the Warblers and the Hipsters. Meanwhile, Emma and Carl (John Stamos) grow closer while teen romances begin to fray.

Raising Hope (9pm, Fox) - Jimmy gets Burt's idol, Smokey Floyd (Jason Lee -- you knew that guest spot was coming, right?), to help him realize the rock-and-roll dreams the elder Chance gave up when he became a father.

Detroit 1-8-7 (10pm, ABC) - Longford, Mahajan, Stone, and Sanchez investigate the slaying of a wealthy, retired auto industry executive in his palatial home, while Fitch, Washington, and Lt. Mason comfort the family of an 11-year-old bboy who was killed by a drive-by shooter.

Sons of Anarchy (10pm, FX) - In the Season 3 finale, the ATF and Russians stand in the way as the SAMCRO looks to heal old wounds.

Victoria Secret Fashion Show (10pm, CBS) - Katy Perry and Akon perform as supermodels take to the runway to showcase the company's latest lingerie.

Strange Days with Bob Saget (10pm, A&E) - Bob Saget explores America's subcultures in this new series. In tonight's opener, he travels with the Iron Order Motorcycle Club and rides in a sidecar from Kentucky to Florida. At 10:30, Saget travels with members of the Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization in the Pacific Northwest as they search for Sasquatch.

What to Watch on Tuesday: 'Dancing' finale, Carol Burnett on 'Glee'

Glee (8pm, Fox) - Sue Sylvester's "Nazi-hunting" mother (Carol Burnett) visits in this new episode featuring the wedding of Kurt's father to Finn's mother. Looks like they'll have a duet. Meanwhile, Kurt makes a major decision and Rachel and Finn take a big step.

Frontline: Facing Death (9pm, UNC-TV) - An examination of how end-of-life decisions are made via the experiences of patients, loved ones, doctors, and nurses in a New York Hospital ICU.

Dancing with the Stars (9pm, ABC) - A winner is announced in the 11th season finale after the three final couples each perform two more dances -- their season favorite and an Instant Dance in the form of a cha-cha. Christina Aguilera performs in this two-hour episode.

Raising Hope (9pm, Fox) - Jimmy invites Hope's maternal grandparents (Greg Germann, Valerie Mahaffey) for Thanksgiving, but the Chances soon discover that the deceased Lucy's felonious ways may have been hereditary.

The Good Wife (10pm, CBS) - Alicia defends an alderman accused of taking a bribe from a Muslim extremist group. To prepare, Alicia review wiretap evidence and is shocked to discover that some of the tapes pertain to her.

Sons of Anarchy (10pm, FX) - With a SAMCRO family member held hostage, Jax must choose between revenge and the good of Charming.

What to Watch on Tuesday: Specials from Kathy Griffin, Russell Simmons

One Tree Hill (8pm, CW) - Brooke attempts to bond with her future mother-in-law while Julian searches for his best man. Meanwhile, Skills arrives back in town and Nathan faces problems with his new career.

Election coverage (9pm) - Election coverage begins at 9pm on NBC and Fox, 9:30pm on ABC, and 10pm on CBS. Of course, on the cable news networks (CNN, MSNBC, Fox News, CSPAN, etc), coverage will be wall-to-wall. For non-election programming, get over to cable.

Kathy Griffin: Whores on Crutches (10pm, Bravo) - Comedian Kathy Griffin's latest stand up special filmed in Temecula, California. Her targets: Bristol Palin on "Dancing with the Stars," her exchanges with Elizabeth Hasselbeck on "The View," and her mother's red carpet experience at the Emmys.

Running Russell Simmons (10pm, Oxygen) - A new reality series following hip hop and fashion mogul Russell Simmons and his band of assistants as they help manage his business dealings, family life, and party planning.

Sons of Anarchy (10pm, FX) - SAMCRO club members set out on a protection run unlike any they have been on before.

What to Watch on Tuesday: Hal Holbrook joins "Sons of Anarchy"

White Collar (9pm, USA) - In the mid-season finale, Peter and Neal make progress tracking Kate's killer, and Neal arranges a con to get closer to the suspect.

Warehouse 13 (9pm, Syfy) - Pete and Myka travel to 1961 via H.G. Wells' time machine to stop a killer who is turning women into glass.

Sons of Anarchy (10pm, FX) - Season three opens in the wake of the kidnapping of Jax's son and SAMCRO is gunning for the kidnapper, gunrunner Cameron Hayes. The kidnapping also prompts Jax to take stock of his relationship with Tara. Also, Gemma is on the lam after Stahl framed her for Edmond Hayes murder. She seeks out her father (played by Hal Holbrook) who suffers from Alzheimers Disease. Finally, Hale's brother Jake decides to run for mayor of Charming. Nightline Prime: Secrets of Your Mind (10pm, ABC) - The conclusion of "Nightline's" human mind series looks at forces in the brain that cause people to overeat.

Covert Affairs (10pm, USA) - An Iranian trade delegate escapes his handlers during a trip to Toronto and tries to strike a deal with the CIA to hand over stolen intelligence in exchange for entry into the United States. Mid-season finale.

What to Watch on Tuesday: Reptilian aliens or an NCIS assassin?

V (8pm, ABC) - Father Jack and FBI agent Erica (at left), who are now firmly anti-V, find themselves being tracked by a "Seeker." Meanwhile, TV news reporter Chad (Scott Wolf) feels guilty about his fluff piece on the Vs, so he sets out to do a little investigative work. 

NCIS (8pm, CBS) - Deputy director Vance's family is in danger when a North Korean assassin -- excuse me, "the world's best assassin" -- shows up in Washington, D.C.

Biggest Loser (8pm, NBC) - A circus-themed show and a double-elimination. Cruel and unusual. 

The Good Wife (10pm, CBS) - Alicia becomes attracted to her co-counsel, played by Chris Bowers, when they defend a law partner's daughter.

Sons of Anarchy (10pm, FX) - Agent Stahl starts to notice SAMCRO's huge repo profits, and the Jax-Clay standoff pushes Gemma into a difficult decision.

What to Watch on Tuesday: Big winner helps Biggest Losers

The Biggest Loser (8pm, NBC) - New York Yankee shortstop Derek Jeter (swoon) helps the gang with a baseball challenge, the winner of which gets a healthy Mediterranean meal cooked by chef Curtis Stone. Also, someone breaks a "Biggest Loser" record tonight.

So You Think You Can Dance (8pm, Fox) - The competition begins for real tonight. Tune in to see how the local women (Noelle and Ariana) do.

Hip Hop Awards (8pm, BET) - Mike Epps hosts the awards show, and Ludacris is among the featured performers. 

Frontline: Close to Home (9pm, UNC-TV) - The recession in the Upper East Side of New York through the lens of Deborah Hair Designs, a business that caters to actors, bankers, housewives, and opera singers. Review.

Dancing With the Stars (9pm, ABC) - Double elimination tonight.  

Flipping Out (10pm, Bravo) - Andy Cohen talks to the cast about season three, and Ryan and Jeff clash again over their personal and professional breakup. Team Jeff, all the way. 

Sons of Anarchy (10pm, FX) - Tom Arnold (left) guest stars as Georgie Caruso, a porn producer who orders his thugs to attack Luanne's studio.
