Guest blogger Lenni G is back, helping us with SYTYCD coverage. And today, she is not happy:
Time to vent about this season.
Judges-only voting should stop after the top 20 dancers have been named - the audience should be voting from that point forward. The judge's critiques have become so technical that we ordinary hoofers have no idea what they're talking about - it's depressing to really love a couple's dance and then have the "experts" tell us it was awful.
V (8pm, ABC) - ABC "re-imagines" NBC's 80s sci-fi drama about carnivorous reptilian aliens known as "The Visitors" who invade Earth. The Visitors claim to be friendly, but their mission is to exterminate the human race. I'm not normally a big fan of sci-fi, but this show is very well-done. Starring Elizabeth Mitchell (Juliet from "Lost"), Scott Wolf, and Morris Chestnut.
Biggest Loser (8pm, NBC) - The contestants are now competing individually. In tonight's episode, they all travel to Washington DC for a public workout at the Washington Monument, for a salad at the White House, and then a weigh-in on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial. Couldn't NBC have used some of this travel budget to film another episode of "Trauma?"
So You Think You Can Dance (8pm, Fox) - One local dancer (Noelle) remains on the show but she was hobbling around on a bad leg last week, so who knows...
Kathy Griffin: Balls of Steel (9pm, Bravo) - In her latest stand-up show filmed at the San Diego Civic Center, Kathy Griffin dishes on Barbara Walters, the Gosselins, Levi Johnston, and Miley Cyrus.
Tabatha's Salon Takeover (10pm, Bravo) - Season two gets underway tonight, with Tabatha Coffey taking over a struggling salon in Chicago.

Don't feel sorry for Ariana Debose.
The 18-year-old contemporary dancer from New Bern (but now living in Wake Forest), isn't crying about her elimination last night from "So You Think You Can Dance."
In fact, she seems to have the whole thing in proper prospective.
"It's one TV show, it's not the be all, end all," she says in a phone chat. "I'm confident in my dancing."
Our guest blogger Lenni G. is back, reporting on the dance and the drama:
If last night is any indication, this is going to be a weird season.
First, we found out yesterday morning that Billy Bell, one of the best dancers, is out - we don't find out what's wrong with him, just that, "His doctor won't allow him to continue."
So the show brings in hip hop guy, Brandon to replace contemporary Billy - not exactly an even, or really fair, replacement.
Next, shortly after the show starts we see Noelle Marsh (our Sanford girl) with a huge brace on her knee - Nigel announces that they are not sure whether she will be able to continue but they are giving her a week to find out.
The Biggest Loser (8pm, NBC) - New York Yankee shortstop Derek Jeter (swoon) helps the gang with a baseball challenge, the winner of which gets a healthy Mediterranean meal cooked by chef Curtis Stone. Also, someone breaks a "Biggest Loser" record tonight.
So You Think You Can Dance (8pm, Fox) - The competition begins for real tonight. Tune in to see how the local women (Noelle and Ariana) do.
Hip Hop Awards (8pm, BET) - Mike Epps hosts the awards show, and Ludacris is among the featured performers.
Frontline: Close to Home (9pm, UNC-TV) - The recession in the Upper East Side of New York through the lens of Deborah Hair Designs, a business that caters to actors, bankers, housewives, and opera singers. Review.
Dancing With the Stars (9pm, ABC) - Double elimination tonight.
Flipping Out (10pm, Bravo) - Andy Cohen talks to the cast about season three, and Ryan and Jeff clash again over their personal and professional breakup. Team Jeff, all the way.
Sons of Anarchy (10pm, FX) - Tom Arnold (left) guest stars as Georgie Caruso, a porn producer who orders his thugs to attack Luanne's studio.
Two local dancers did well enough in their auditions for "So You Think You Can Dance" that they have each made the top 20 and are set to compete on the show starting tonight.
Tonight's show will introduce the season's dancers and pair up the men with the women.
Ariana Debose, who is originally from New Bern but currently lives in Wake Forest, and Noelle Marsh from Sanford, are both contemporary dancers but have been trained in all styles of dance.
They both trained at CC & Co Dance Complex in Raleigh and have competed nationally.
Tonight's show will showcase each dancer in their own style, and the real competition begins tomorrow night in a two-hour show beginning at 8pm.
Click below for more about Noelle and Ariana.
So You Think You Can Dance (8pm, Fox) - The top twenty dancers are introduced and two of them are local. Tune in tonight to meet Ariana (Wake Forest) and Noelle (Sanford). Both women dance at the CC & Co Dance Complex in Raleigh.

The Real Amelia Earhart (8pm, NGC) - National Geographic Channel presents a documentary on the disappearance of Ameila Earhart, who vanished somewhere over the Pacific in 1937.
Cake Boss (10pm, TLC) - Back-to-back episodes ring in season two tonight, as Buddy creates a cake in the shape of a ring box and considers hiring an assistant. Also, Cousin Anthony learns a thing or two about the dangerous job of cake delivery.
Castle (10pm, ABC) - Castle and Beckett (right) go vampire hunting as they investigate the death of a man found wearing vampire teeth with a stake through his heart. Also, there's a special treat for "Firefly" fans at the beginning of the episode.
Two local dancers have advanced to the Las Vegas round of Fox's "So You Think You Can Dance," and will perform on tonight's show.
Ariana Debose and Noelle Marsh, both from the CC & Co. Dance Complex in Raleigh, did well enough in their auditions to earn a spot on the Vegas show. Friends, fans, and supporters are planning to meet at Rudino's in North Raleigh tonight for a viewing party.
The show airs on Fox 50 tonight at 8pm.
Guest blogger Lenni G wraps it all up:
And we have a winner!!!!
But
first we had lots and lots of really good dancing. The seven judges present - Lil C, Mia, Tyce, Debbie Allen, Adam, Mary and Nigel - selected their favorite routines from the season and we got to see them all again.
Guest blogger Lenni G shares:
The Top 4 dancers' final competition last night took place in front of 3,000 people at the Kodak Theater.
The judges, Mary Murphy, Nigel Lythgoe and Adam Shankman, told Jeanine, Evan, Kayla and Brandon to "Bring It" big time and feed off the energy of all the fans in attendance. We were so psyched! We were so ready for a "fan-freaking-tastic, buck evening." And, for the most part, it was.
