Jonathan Hannah’s journey through college football has been described as more intriguing than Gulliver's Travels.

Northern Durham defensive back A.J. Davis made a verbal commitment to North Carolina a few days before signing day in 2002, but he stunned the region by signing with N.C. State.

How do you know recruiting season is reaching the heights of its frenzy? When a top recruit goes into seclusion to make his decision.
The Miami Herald has the tale of Bryce Brown, who has commited to Miami but might not sign. Says the Herald:
Since a week ago Saturday, Wichita (Kan.) East running back Bryce Brown -- a ''soft'' commit to the University of Miami -- has been secluded with an uncle in Nebraska to escape the frenzy surrounding his pending decision about where to attend college. Unless there's a dramatic change in Brown's plan, that decision will not come Wednesday, National Signing Day. It might not even come for another month or more, as NCAA rules state that players have until April 1 to sign their scholarship offers.
When he returns Saturday, Brown, whose older brother Arthur is a UM linebacker, will decide with his family when he should begin a week- to two-week-long liquid fast to help him reach clarity.
