Billy of Cary won yesterday's free DVD "Spin City." Way to go Billy!
Now who wants to gamble?
If you do, why not do it with "Vegas," the late 70s show starring the late, great Robert Urich as a private eye who drives a red '57 Ford Thunderbird convertible in the "underbelly of the shimmering desert oasis in Nevada." (Yep, that's Tony Curtis you see; he played a casino owner and Urich's landlord.) The show was created by Michael Mann, who went on to great things like directing Will Smith in "Ali" and Robert De Niro and Al Pacino in "Heat."
The special features are few: there are episodic promos on selected episodes. But you get 3 discs and more than 9 hours of TV watching.
Winning is waay easier than rolling snake eyes. Just email me (adrienne.johnson@newsobserver.com) with the name of Urich's character in the subject line. In the body, give your name and contact information. Entries with the correct answer will be put in a random drawing to choose a winner.
We'll take emails until midnight. (Thursday Dec. 10) Check back tomorrow for the winner and a new chance to win.
