The Body Shop names new North American president

Wake Forest-based The Body Shop announced Friday that the president of the company's North American operations, Philip H. Kowalczyk, is departing to become CEO of the Robert Allen Group, a designer of fabrics and furniture.

Kowalczyk begins his new job Nov. 1. He has led The Body Shop's North American division for three years.

He is being replaced by Paul Kimberley, currently the managing director of the The Body Shop UK, where the skin-care products company is based.

The Body Shop moved its Americas regions headquarters from San Francisco to North Carolina four years ago.
