What to Watch on Thursday: A good night for clearing out the DVR

So You Think You Can Dance (8pm, Fox) - Two of the Top 20 dancers are eliminated, and Jessie J performs.

24 Hour Restaurant Battle (10pm, Food) - Twin brothers serve comfort food at their restaurant, while fraternity brothers compete with a steakhouse. Hosted by chef Scott Conant (right).

Love Bites (10pm, NBC) - Judd crashes a party with his pal (Steve Talley) and discovers shocking news about the pretty host. Also, a man's proven system to avoid post-date responsibilities is challenged by a beguiling lady. Donald Faison and Joy Bryant guest star.

The Real Housewives of New York (10pm, Bravo) - The ladies pack to leave Morocco, and Jill and Ramona try to patch up their messy relationship.

This is just sad. This would be an excellent night to clear out the DVR or break open that dusty box set of "The Wire." Or (gasp) read a book.

Book giveaway: Bethenny Frankel's "A Place of Yes"

We're giving away a copy of a book by one of our favorite reality stars:  Bethenny Frankel's "A Place of Yes."

In it, in trademark frank, funny and sweet fashion, Frankel reveals parts of her life and the lessons she learned from mistakes and believing in her vision.

Maybe you're skeptical -- Why should I listen to her? What does she know? She just got lucky because she was on a reality show!

Think again. According to this interesting article in The Hollywood Reporter, The former Real Housewife of New York star saw what a lot of folks didn't see at first, namely that going on a reality show could help build her brand.

Sure everybody's got that message now, but Bethenny was ahead of the curve. And now the payoff:  Reports say her Skinnygirl cocktail line just got acquired for $120 million.

So maybe you do need to get to a "Place of Yes." Just send me an email with "YES" in the subject line. We'll randomly pick a winner.

Some changes, some things the same on "Real Housewives of New York"

Season four of "The Real Housewives of New York City" (Bravo, 10 tonight) brings real change. Bethenny, now helming her own delightful show, is gone, and so is her wit and level-headedness.

That doesn't mean the new season is a snore. Nope there's plenty of drama. And even more crazy. A quick rundown, after a two-episode screening:

LuAnn: Though no longer a countess, she still walks around like she's royalty and the epitome of class, although most would agree that acting haughty is pretty tacky. Add being two-faced and passive-aggressive to that list. She has a new boyfriend. Naturally, he's French.

What to Watch on Thursday: Farewell to 'Perfect Couples'

American Idol (8pm, Fox) - One of the nine finalists is eliminated. Don't forget to keep track of all things McCreery at our Scotty Watch home base.

The Vampire Diaries (8pm, CW) - TVD finally returns! Tonight, Isobel arrives unexpectedly and her visit upsets Jenna. Also, Matt informs the sheriff that his sister was killed by a vampire.

Perfect Couples (8:30pm, NBC) - The series finale for this underrated and underappreciated sitcom has Vance and Amy getting cold feet at their wedding (no cliffhangers, please). Meanwhile, Dave and Julia prepare their toasts for the weddings, and Leigh exerts her power as wedding planner while Rex tries to make himself part of the big day. I'll miss you, guys!

The Killing (9pm, AMC) - If you missed Sunday's premiere, catch it here.

LisaRaye: The Real McCoy (9pm, TVOne) - In the second season opener, LisaRaye goes to Puerto Rico but her assistant loses some of her possessions.

The Bear Whisperer Returns (10pm, Animal Planet) - A series following wildlife specialist Steve Searles as he protects tourists from black bears in Mammoth Lakes, California. In this first episode, he has to make a tough decision about a wounded bear. Okay, right there, I can tell you I am not watching this show.

Real Housewives of New York (10pm, Bravo) - Season 4 begins with Ramona hosting a rooftop cocktail party. Single mother and entrepreneur Cindy Barshop joins the cast, replacing Bethenny Frankel.

Secret Diary of a Call Girl (10:30pm, Showtime) - Season 4 begins with Belle entertaining a new business proposition and dealing with an unwelcome houseguest.

Gigolos (11pm, Showtime) - A new reality series offering a peek into the lives of male escorts in Las Vegas. In tonight's opener, one of the men scores a job with a teacher looking for some after-school romance.

What to Watch on Thursday: "Real Housewives of New York" caps the crazy

100 Questions (8:30pm, NBC) - Charlotte dates a man who becomes obsessed with her, going so far as to get a tattoo of her face on his chest (is she dating Kasey?!), and her friends help her come up with a lie to end the relationship.

Real Housewives of New York (9pm, Bravo) - The third and final installment in this series of New York reunion shows may not have the Jill-Bethenny reconciliation we all kinda want, but it will have plenty of crazy (right). So grab your jelly beans and gummy bears and settle in for some satchels of reality television gold.

Deadliest Catch: Scariest Moments at Sea (9pm, Discovery) - Perilous moments experienced by crab, lobster, and sword fishermen in this look at three dangerous U.S. fisheries.

The Ultimate Merger (9pm, TV One) - Who wants to date Omarosa? Twelve lucky suitors (all chosen by Donald Trump) line up in this competition dating show for their chance at the infamous shrinking violet.

Royal Pains (10pm, USA) - A movie star, played by wrestler Big Show, collapses and learns that what is ailing him is the same thing that has made him famous. I'm guessing it involves his pituitary glands. Also, Eddie (Henry Winkler) announces that he's staying in the Hamptons.

A chat with our favorite Real Housewife of New York

It took a while, but I finally managed to wrangle an interview out of Bethenny Frankel, the smartest and least neurotic of "The Real Housewives of New York."

The hold up? An exercise DVD, planning a wedding, honeymooning, labor, a baby girl

But she finally had to come out and talk. There's a new show to promote, "Bethenny Getting Married?" and baby needs new shoes!

Read my (email) chat with Ms. Frankel here

What to Watch on Thursday: Chris Rock and Adam Sandler join Kimmel

Jimmy Kimmel Live: Game Night (8pm, ABC) - Kimmel's NBA playoff pre-game special features Chris Rock, Adam Sandler, Kevin James, David Spade, and Rob Schneider (from the new movie "Grown Ups"). Game 4 begins at 9pm.

Country Music Television Awards (9pm, CMT) - I missed promoting this yesterday (the Awards show ran last night). But if you also missed it, there's a repeat tonight. Kid Rock hosted and Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert, and Toby Keith all performed.

Burn Notice (9pm, USA) - Last week Michael inadvertently burned another spy. This week, he helps that spy, who is being pursued by a drug trafficker with a grudge.

So You Think You Can Dance (9pm, Fox) - The top ten dancers are introduced.

Real Housewives of New York City (9pm, Bravo) - Part one of a two part reunion show. Only watch this if you enjoy seeing grown women scream at each other.

Bethenny Getting Married (10pm, Bravo) - Bethenny Frankel, the most reasonable New York housewife gets her own show. Adrienne says it's a welcome break from the craziness.

What to Watch on Thursday: Join NBC's "Community"

NCAA Basketball (7pm, WRAL) - Regional semifinals from Syracuse and Salt Lake City. Full schedule here.

Community (8pm, NBC) - Brita pulls a prank hoping to reverse her humorless reputation, but something goes horribly wrong and she's investigated by new campus security workers, Annie and Shirley.

Grey's Anatomy (9pm, ABC) - Sounds like a lot of Owen in this episode, so I'm out.

30 Rock (9:30pm, NBC)  - Liz Lemon's ex Floyd (Jason Sudeikis) returns with big news and Liz must reassess her relationship with him.

Real Housewives of New York (10pm, Bravo) - It's fashion week and everyone is fighting with Bethanny, except, oddly enough, Kelly. Jill has a party and there's an "explosion of drama" and someone storms out.

What to Watch on Thursday: FlashForward returns to ABC

NCAA Basketball (WRAL) - It's going on pretty much all day, folks. Grab your bracket and tune in.

FlashForward (8pm, ABC) - The show is back after a fairly long hiatus. Hope you caught the refresher Monday night... Tonight, Mark (Joseph Fiennes) must meet with a therapist before being cleared for work, but that doesn't stop him from investigating Lloyd's abduction. (And yes,  Fiennes looks very close to groping Shohreh Aghdashloo in the photo at right).

Parks & Recreation (8:30pm, NBC) - Jerry gets mugged by some kids in the park, so Leslie sets up a meeting with the head park ranger (Andy Samberg from "SNL") to discuss park safety.

Archer (10pm, FX) - In the season 1 finale, questions about the identity of Archer's father lead him into a trap, and a confrontation with Malory.

Real Housewives of New York (10pm, Bravo) - Kelly tries to explain her decision to pose in Playboy to her young daughters. Awkward.

'Real Housewives' Kelly now accused of theft

Kelly Bensimon is quickly turning into one Housewife you do not want to cross.

First she was arrested for assault, and now she is being accused of stealing the jewelry designs she shamelessly hawked on this week's Real Housewives of New York episode (not to mention the  criminally catty "This is you, this is me" exchange with Bethenny a couple weeks ago).

Apparently that owl design Kelly was so proud of (see necklace in photo) was actually designed by Celeste Greenberg, who worked with Kelly at Elle Accessories. Greenberg is suing Kelly over the stolen property.

What I'm wondering is when will they please arrest Kelly for jogging in the middle of traffic on Fifth Avenue. I mean, even if that's allowed, who would actually do that??
