The Ravenscroft Varsity Boys Basketball team finished the Chick-fil-a Classic in Columbia, S.C., with a 76-44 win over Union County (S.C) on Tuesday, Dec. 23.

Senior center Matt Wilson had a career-high 20 points and 10 rebounds, and senior forward Ryan Kelly had 30 points, nine rebounds, and two blocks to lead the Ravens. For Kelly, it marked the fifth time this season he has scored 30 or more points in a game.

Ravenscroft and Word of God, two of the top boys basketball teams in the area, lost again Monday in out-of-state tournaments.

Ravenscroft lost to the Miller School of Virginia, 66-53, in the Chick-Fil-A Classic in Columbia, S.C. Duke recruit Ryan Kelly led the Ravens with 32 points and 12 rebounds.

Ravenscroft defeated Union County, S.C., on Tuesday morning to finish seventh. 

Word of God lost to Los Angeles Westchester 76-57. John Wall and C.J. Leslie each had 17 points and Bishop Daniels had 19.
