Watch the "Lost" finale on the big screen

If you're a Lostie in need of moral support for Sunday night's big series finale, Raleighwood Cinema Grill could be the place for you.

The movie theater/restaurant is showing all of Sunday night's "Lost" programming on their 35-foot screen, free of charge (they will be selling their regular full-service menu of appetizers, entrees, desserts, beer, etc.).

"Lost" begins on Sunday with a special two-hour recap/retrospective starting at 7pm, with the finale following at 9pm and running two-and-a-half hours (here's the full viewing guide, including information about additional programming on Saturday).

Resuming the fight against the "Resegregationist 5"

It looks like reaching out to the opposition can only get you so far.

Clyde Smith is back again with additional unpleasant remarks about the new Wake County school board members.

Smith initially wrote on his Raleighwood blog yesterday that he was standing own in his fight against what he called the "Resegregationist 5." But he came back with a later post Monday saying he's still going to mount his "rebranding" campaign after all, but not at the level he initially planned.

Standing down against the "Resegregationist 5"

It looks like the Wake County school board majority won't have to deal with Clyde Smith much longer.

In a post today on his Raleighwood blog, Smith writes he has to focus on his own needs rather than on his campaign against the "Resegregationist 5." Smith had raised eyebrows with an earlier post that called the board members wanted criminals and linked to pictures of lynch mobs when you clicked on their photos.

Calling the school board majority criminals

A local blogger has caused a bit of an Internet stir by portraying members of the new Wake County school board majority as wanted criminals.

In a blog post Monday, Clyde Smith put up photos of all five board members with their names and the caption "Wanted For Crimes Against Wake County School Children." The Raleighwood blog tells you to click on the photos "to reveal the inner thoughts of a resegregationist." He calls them "The Resegregationist 5."

Clicking on the photos brings you to a google link with pictures of lynch mobs.
