Michael Reilly, a talented tennis player who grew up in the Raleigh Racquet Club Junior program, signed his letter of intent to play at North Carolina-Wilmington last Wednesday.
Reilly has been part of the RRC Junior program since he was a pre-teen and is still active in the program, helping to coach current RRC Juniors on a regular basis.
Reilly trained on Hilton Head Island at the Stan Smith Tennis Academy. He joins an elite group of RRC Juniors who have moved on to play in college, including James Coxe and Taylor Meyer, who are both members of the UNC men’s tennis team.
Reilly will join a UNC-Wilmington team that is ranked No. 48 in Division I men’s tennis.
