Q&A with the Centsible Saver

Q&A with the Centsible Saver is an occasional feature on the blog. If you have a question for a future Q&A, leave it at the bottom of this post or email it to adunn@newsobserver.com. Ask me anything about coupons, rebates, saving money and living the frugal life.

This time around I've got questions about online coupon-printing sites, the liklihood of Super Double or Triple coupon promotions at Kroger and the best way to get multiple copies of coupons for items you regularly purchase.

Today I've got questions about mail-in rebates and Catalina deals so here goes:

Q&A with the Centsible Saver

Nearly every day, I get questions from readers, which I love, by the way. You folks keep me on my toes.

I try to answer each phone call and email as quickly as I can, and I make every effort to post replies to comments on the blog. But I know some questions fall through the cracks.

I've also realized that if one person is taking the time to pick up the phone to call me, compose an email or leave a comment, there must be many others among you who have the same questions.

So starting today, and continuing on an occasional basis, I'll be writing a Question & Answer post.

If you have a question for a future Q&A, leave a comment at the end of this post or email me at adunn@newsobserver.com. Ask me anything about coupons, rebates, saving money and living the frugal life.

Q&A preview: Holly Springs vs Ashley baseball, best-of-3 series

The Holly Springs baseball program, led by a number of seniors who will graduate as the school's first four-year graduating class, is on the doorstep of a possible state championship berth. The squad became the first Golden Hawks team to reach the 4-A East final in any sport with Tuesday's win against Leesville Road.

Next up: a three-game series with Wilmington's Ashley High.

I've brought in a righty from the coast to answer some questions about the Golden Hawks' opponent.

Q&A with John Swofford

The 2009 ACC Tournament opened today with four first-round game in a Georgia Dome that was about 10,000 fans short of being sold out in Atlanta. Here's what ACC commissioner John Swofford had to say in an exclusive interview about the tournament, the ACC football championship and other topics.

Q: The tournament is not a sellout. On the other hand, the economy is in a difficult situation and you still get more revenue, I would presume (at the Georgia Dome) than you would in Greensboro. Can you break that down for me?
