What to Watch on Thursday: NBC skips a particularly gruesome 'Hannibal' episode

Person of Interest (9pm, CBS) - A medical luminary is poisoned, and Finch and Reese must work quickly to determine the toxin's origin and find the attacker. Elsewhere, an informant gives Internal Affairs pertinent info on Det. Fusco.

Project Runway (9pm, Lifetime) - The winner is named in the Season 11 finale. Michael Kors is the guest judge.

Hannibal (10pm, NBC) - At the request of the show's creator, Bryan Fuller, NBC is pulling the fourth episode of "Hannibal" due to the "cultural climate" in the country (Newtown, Boston, etc.). The episode, which will not air in the U.S., was about a woman (played by Molly Shannon) who brainwashed children to kill other children. NBC is releasing a series of 'Hannibal' webisodes online that will fill in any holes in character development, particularly between therapist Dr. Hannibal Lecter (Mads Mikkelsen) and Abigail Hobbs, daughter of serial killer Garrett Jacob Hobbs. The episode airing tonight, Episode 5, isn't exactly a picnic in the park. Will (Hugh Dancy, right) and the FBI track a religious serial killer whose ritual includes cutting the victims' back flesh and stretching it out to resemble wings. In less gruesome events, Crawford's wife (Laurence Fishburne's real-life wife Gina Torres) is keeping an important secret from him, and begins seeing Lecter for support.

Scandal (10pm, ABC) - More details from Huck's background are disclosed. Meanwhile, Olivia and Fitz have an intense conversation and aren't careful about whether they're being watched (which means they are). Also, Cyrus grows suspicious of Jake, and Mellie makes a choice that could have severe repercussions.

Tabatha Takes Over (10pm, Bravo) - Tabatha tries to overhaul a slumping barbershop in Tennessee, where the owner abandoned his business for nearly a year to work with a youth ministry and the barbers staged a walkout.

The Island President (2am, UNCTV) - DVR Alert: An Independent Lens documentary chronicling the first year in office of Maldives president Mohamed Nasheed, who undertakes a campaign to raise awareness about the catastrophic consequences of global warming.

What to Watch on Thursday: HBO doc pays homage to slain war photojournalists

The Vampire Diaries (8pm, CW) - Damon and Stefan try helping Elena by going to the prom, but she has an outburst no one anticipated.

Which Way Is the Front Line From Here? (8pm, HBO) - Two days before the anniversary of the deaths of war photographers Tim Hetherington and Chris Hondros, an N.C. State grad from Fayetteville, HBO debuts a documentary about Hetherington's final hours in Libya. The film is from Sebastian Junger, who co-directed the war documentary "Restrepo" with Hetherington. (Hetherington and Junger are pictured here, Hetherington on the right.) Adrienne reviews.

Parks and Recreation (9pm, NBC) - Two new episodes tonight. First, Leslie tries to get rid of laws that no longer make sense, while April and Ron get management training from Chris. At 9:30, Leslie wants to do something special to celebrate Jerry's retirement.

Project Runway (9pm, Lifetime) - In the first part of a two-part season finale, the final four designers go home to work on their collections, then get visits from mentor Tim Gunn before returning to New York to preview their lines to judges.

Hannibal (10pm, NBC) - Jack thinks Abigail might have helped her father -- a serial killer -- with his crimes. Hannibal encourages Abigail to return to Minnesota. Remember, "Scandal" is a rerun tonight, so ...

The Moment (10pm, USA) - A race car driver on the verge of giving up his dream trains with pro Brendan Gaughan for a chance to earn a spot as a NASCAR driver.

Wonder Women! The Untold Story of American Superheroines (2am, UNC-TV) - DVR Alert: An Independent Lens documentary examining the evolution of Wonder Woman and other female superheroes, whose depictions through the decades have often mirrored societal anxieties about strong women. The film features interviews with Lynda Carter ("Wonder Woman"), Lindsay Wagner ("The Bionic Woman"), Gloria Steinem and many others.

What to Watch on Thursday: Season finale of 'Raising Hope'

The Vampire Diaries (8pm, CW) - Elena meets Elijah when she searches for Katherine in a small Pennsylvania town. Meanwhile, Stefan reveals his surprising plan for the future, and Klaus gains a new appreciation for Silas' powers.

Fall to Grace (8pm, HBO) - A short profile of former New Jersey governor Jim McGreevey, who resigned from office in 2004 after announcing he was gay, but started a new life by studying to become an Episcopal priest and offering spiritual guidance to women in prison. Adrienne has a review.

Raising Hope (9pm, Fox) - In the first part of the Season 3 finale, Burt (Garret Dillahunt, right)learns he's Jewish during a visit from his folks, so he uses music to get acquainted with his heritage and prepare for his bar mitzvah. Later, Burt and Barney visit Maw Maw's childhood home and discover that their mother may still be alive. Shirley Jones guest stars.

Project Runway (9pm, Lifetime) - Artwork at the Guggenheim inspires the designers to create their own print textiles. Designers Tracy Reese and Rachel Roy are guest judges.

North Carolina Weekend (9pm, UNC-TV) - The magazine show looks at Durham's Full Frame Documentary Film Festival and the Taverna Agora restaurant in Raleigh.

Scandal (10pm, ABC) - Hollis seeks Olivia's help when his daughter is abducted. Also, David remains in peril, finding safety at Pope and Associates.

Comic Book Men (10pm, AMC) - The guys play charades with a comic book theme, while Walt seizes an opportunity to purchase original artwork from a favorite artist.

NCAA Basketball Tournament (CBS) - The NCAA Tournament really begins today (no, NCAA -- we're not counting the play-in games as the first round, but nice try). Community (8pm, NBC) - Dean Pelton tries to lure a wealthy student to Greendale and uses Jeff (Joel McHale, left), Britta and Annie in his recruitment efforts, upsetting Pierce (Chevy Chase, left). Also, Abed starts a fraternity, and Shirley shines in a phys-ed class.

Project Runway (9pm, Lifetime) - The designers push themselves to create spring items worthy for showcase in the windows of an upscale department store. Fashion figures Rachel Roy and Bonnie Brooks are the guest judges.

Beauty and the Beast (9pm, CW) - Muirfield and the police close in on Vincent, while Tess finds something that alters her relationship with Cat.

North Carolina Weekend (9pm, UNC-TV) - This week's show features a look at the Art in Clay exhibit at the N.C. Museum of History and segment on "Art in the Evening" from the N.C. Museum of Art.

Scandal (10pm, ABC) - Finally, a new episode of "Scandal"! Tonight, Olivia represents a CEO having a torrid affair with Fitz's top pick for the Supreme Court opening. Meanwhile, Huck mentors Quinn; Harrison and Abby renegotiate their relationship; and Cyrus and Mellie vie for Fitz's attention.

What to Watch on Thursday: ACC Tourney and chaos at Seattle Grace

ACC Tournament (Noon, WRAL) - It's the most...wonderful time...of the year. Here's the full ACC Tournament schedule. Regular CBS programming can be viewed at CBS.com or overnight on WRAL.

The Vampire Diaries (8pm, CW) - Elena returns to high school and joins the cheerleading squad, but when she throws a party out of boredom, she gets into a nasty fight. (Note: Try to never get into a fight with a vampire.)

Parks and Recreation (8:30pm, NBC) - Leslie is determined to help a local video store stay in business, while Chris offers Tom advice on how to deal with a difficult employ at Rent-a-Swag.

Grey's Anatomy (9pm, ABC) - Multiple transplant surgeries are scheduled at the same time. Also, the hospital's new management team creates havoc, leading one doctor to question whether he still belongs at Seattle Grace. In related news, another week of "Scandal" repeats! Come on, Shonda!! I need my Gladiators in Suits!

Glee (9pm, Fox) - Will and Finn deal with the tension between them when they get an assignment from the glee-club students. Elsewhere, Santana thinks something's fishy with Brody's side job.

Project Runway (9pm, Lifetime) - The designers create outfits for the male revue, "Thunder from Down Under." Emily Rossum is the guest judge.

Funeral Boss (10pm, Discovery Fit & Health) - This "Fit and Health" channel has an awful lot of shows about funerals ("Best Funeral Ever" airs right before this at 9). "Funeral Boss" is a new reality series following a family running a funeral home. A second episode airs at 10:30.

What to Watch on Thursday: James Brolin is Jeff's dad on 'Community'

Community (8pm, NBC) - The gang spend Thanksgiving at Shirley's but soon begin planning their escape from the awkward gathering. Elsewhere, Jeff (Joel McHale visits his estranged dad (James Brolin, left), whom he hasn't met as an adult.

Project Runway (9pm, Lifetime) - The contestants design fashion-forward prom looks constructed from duct tape. The guest judge is designer Chris Benz.

Person of Interest (9pm, CBS) - The Machine produces six numbers at once, sending Reese and Finch on a search for clues in a coastal town where they must wait out a storm with a group of locals -- one of whom may be a killer.

Comic Book Men (9pm, AMC) - The guys hold an auction to help a friend sell a collection, and a customer expresses a kinship with a Spider-Man nemesis.

Glee (9:30pm, Fox) - The glee club is tasked to perform a song from a movie. The cast's performance of "Shout" marks the series' 500th musical number.

Legit (10:30pm, FX) - Jim arranges an intervention after discovering that Janice has become a hoarder.

What to Watch on Thursday: PBS doc 'Makers' chronicles women's movement

Community (8pm, NBC) - The gang begin a European history course after missing out on an ice cream class. Adding to their misery is an encounter with the arrogant German students they battled last year. Also, Chang returns to Greendale, much to Dean Pelton's chagrin.

Makers: Women Who Make America (8pm, UNC-EX) - The modern women's movement is chronicled in this new PBS documentary, which tells the stories of trailblazing women whose work has altered nearly every aspect of American culture. Included are first-person accounts from movement leaders (Gloria Steinem, right) and opponents (Phyllis Schlaffy), as well as celebrities (Oprah Winfrey), political figures (Hillary Clinton), business leaders (Linda Alvarado) and ordinary women.

Zero Hour (8pm, ABC) - Laila works on the next clock for Vincent, but also realizes she must help Hank find her by leaving a trail of clues. Meanwhile, Hank, Arron and Rachel use a tip from the FBI to discover a link between a famous person in history and the next clock.

North Carolina Weekend (9pm, UNC-TV) - Tonight's show features a segment on Triangle Glides and Bob Garner visits Bloomsbury Bistro restaurant.

Project Runway (9pm, Lifetime) - The designers must create fashionable clothes for senior citizens. Joan and Melissa Rivers are the guest judges.

The Ben Show with Ben Hoffman (10pm, Comedy Central) - A new sketch comedy series featuring comedian Ben Hoffman.

Archer (10pm, FX) - Archer, Lana and Cyril go on an undercover mission in a celebrity chef's kitchen.

What to Watch on Thursday: A wedding on 'Parks & Rec', 'Glory Hounds' from Lejeune

Glory Hounds (8pm, Animal Planet) - Animal Planet film crews embedded with working military dog units, including one from Camp Lejeune, to give an intensely emotional account of the life of dogs and dog handlers serving in the most dangerous regions of Afghanistan. Zero Hour (8pm, ABC) - After a harrowing confrontation with Vincent in the Arctic, Hank and Beck search for the next clock and set their sights on India, where Hank makes a startling discovery.

Parks and Recreation (8:30pm, NBC) - In a special one-hour block of "Parks and Rec," Leslie and Ben have two hours to launch their wedding. Later, Leslie is at a loss when a speech she prepared for a special event is stolen, and Ben begins his new job at the Sweetums Charity Foundation.

Project Runway (9pm, Lifetime) - Another surprising twist for the teams, who must design a performance outfit and a red carpet look for country singer Miranda Lambert, who is the guest judge.

Person of Interest (9pm, CBS) - Reese and Finch encounter a formidable foe when an attractive government operative goes on the run.

Scandal (10pm, ABC) - Tonight on "Scandal," the bright, shining light of my Thursday nights, Olivia's crew play matchmaker for a rising politician (a gay gubernatorial candidate from North Carolina in need of a beard). Also, David thinks he's being followed and Fitz deals with a difficult hostage crisis and creepster Jake gets more persistent in his romantic pursuit of Olivia.

What to Watch on Thursday: A different 'Community' returns on NBC

The Vampire Diaries (8pm, CW) - Shane leads an expedition to a mysterious island near Nova Scotia, where he believes he can locate a cure. Back in Mystic Falls, Tyler confronts Klaus, which leads to violence that involves Caroline.

Community (8pm, NBC) - It's the beginning of the fourth (and possibly final) season of "Community," and it's our first look at the show since the firing last year of its creator and showrunner Dan Harmon. What will "Community" be like without Harmon's unique perspective? It can't help but be a little different, but we're hoping for the best. In other news, Chevy Chase will be written out of the series later this season (that's a good thing). In tonight's "Hunger Games"-inspired premiere, the gang begin their fourth year of college and Jeff focuses on the credits he needs to graduate, while Britta helps Abed cope with his anxiety about the group parting ways after graduation.

College Basketball: NCSU at Duke (9pm, WRAL) - This means you won't get the new episodes of "Person of Interest" and "Elementary" during primetime tonight. Instead, set your DVR overnight for "Person of Interest" at 2 a.m. on WRAL and "Elementary" at 3 a.m.

Project Runway (9pm, Lifetime) - The contestants are asked to design garments for host Heidi Klum for the launch of her new fragrance line (didn't the show just promote her terrible-looking children's clothing line last season?). Guest judge is Kristin Davis.

Glee (9pm, Fox) - Finn encourages the glee club members to channel their inner divas, while Rachel's arrogance causes Kurt to reach a breaking point.

Scandal (10pm, ABC) - I can't get enough of this show! And I can't wait to find out what happens to Hollis in that elevator. Tonight, David's uncovering of the truth about the Cytron case makes things tough for Olivia, Mellie, Cyrus, Hollis and Verna, and the desperate conspirators pull out all the stops to protect themselves and their loved ones.

What to Watch on Thursday: Series finale of '30 Rock'

The Vampire Diaries (8pm, CW) - Klaus turns to Stefan for help when Rebekah refuses his plea to stop Kol and protect Jeremy. Meanwhile, Bonnie has a frightening encounter with Kol and mayor Hopkins cancels a school dance.

30 Rock (8pm, NBC) - In the one-hour series finale, Liz (Tina Fey) settles into her new role and Jack (Alec Baldwin, left) reflects on the developments in his own life. Elsewhere, Jenna gears up to perform a farewell song as the cast and crew reassemble for one finale "TGS" edition.

North Carolina Weekend (9pm, UNC-TV) - Tonight's episode features a segment in which Bob Garner visits Mami Nora's, a delicious Peruvian chicken restaurant on Wake Forest Road in Raleigh.

Project Runway (9pm, Lifetime) - The designers make uniforms for a Ping-Pong social club. Susan Sarandon is the guest judge.

Do No Harm (10pm, NBC) - The first episode of a new drama about a successful neurosurgeon who struggles to keep a lid on his dangerous alternate personality. In tonight's premiere, the doctor can no longer control his lethal side, which can now run wild at the same time every night, threatening the doctor's life and career. Check out Adrienne's review.

Scandal (10pm, ABC) - Olivia's team learns the truth about the rigged election and also a thing or two about their boss. Meanwhile, Mellie goes to great lengths to reel in Fitz.

Elementary (10pm, CBS) - Sherlock investigates a suspicious hit-and-run accident that involves a conspiracy theorist. Meanwhile, Watson tries to mend the fractured relationship between Holmes and Gregson.
