The Middle Creek boys and Wakefield boys also are ranked in the 4-A top 10. Millbrook, Durham Riverside and Southeast Raleigh are among top 10 4-A girls.

Here are second-round match-ups in the NCHSAA volleyball playoffs with results from Saturday's first round. Most schools will play their second-round games on Tuesday.
South Johnston wins softball tournament
Submitted by timstevens on 04/12/2010 - 09:16South Johnston defeated Princeton 10-3 on Saturday to win the Princeton Easter Invitational softball invitational.
Kaitlyn Barbour struck out 10 and allowed eight hits in the victory. She also had three singles. Teammate Heather Howard added a single, double and triple.
South Johnston is rolling, 55-7
