What to Watch on Sunday: Jaycee Dugard special, 'Curb' return

Big Brother (8pm, CBS) - Thursday night's premiere revealed that Jordan and Jeff from Season 11 are back. Jordan Lloyd, the winner from Season 11, is from Charlotte. In tonight's episode, nominations for eviction are revealed.

Primetime: Jaycee Dugard - In Her Own Words (9pm, ABC) - Diane Sawyer interviews California kidnapping victim Jaycee Dugard. Dugard was abducted in 1991 by Phillip and Nancy Garrido and held for 18 years. During her captivity, she bore two children, fathered by Garrido.

Drop Dead Diva (9pm, Lifetime) - Jane represents the mother of a dwarf in a case against a sperm bank as she awaits a post-date phone call from Dr. Bill.

True Blood (9pm, HBO) - Sookie has her hands full when she tries to help an uncharacteristically befuddled Eric, but she's in for an even bigger surprise on a visit to Shreveport to see Alcide.

Curb Your Enthusiasm (10pm, HBO) - In the Season 8 premiere, Larry (Larry David, right) has second thoughts about his lawyer and also rethinks a Girl Scout cookie order from the daughter of a sports team owner.

Falling Skies (10pm, TNT) - This series just got a Season 2 pickup from TNT! Tonight, Hal orchestrates a shadowy and perilous plan to slip into an alien lair to rescue been and the other harnessed kids.

Famous Food (10pm, VH1) - The premiere of a new reality series in which seven D-List celebrities try to launch a restaurant together. Some of the gems here include Heidi Montag, Jake Pavelka, Ashley Dupre, and Vincent Pastore.

What to Watch on Friday: "Friday Night Lights" returns to NBC

Friday Night Lights (8pm, NBC) - This "new" season of "Friday Night Lights" already ran on DirecTV, but it's making its NBC debut tonight. I beg you to watch. It's a really fantastic show, but chronically under-appreciated and under-promoted by its network. Tonight's show picks up where Season 3 left off: Coach Taylor (Kyle Chandler) has been fired from the Dillon Panthers and must start over with the raggedy East Dillon Lions, over on the more diverse side of town. And even though they've graduated, FNL favorites Matt Saracen and Tim Riggins are still around and still prominent in the storylines. Coach is at a totally new school, so there are a few new cast members, too, with the standout being Michael B. Jordan, who also played Wallace on "The Wire" ("Where's Wallace at? Where's the boy, String!?"). Watch it.

Kitchen Nightmares (9pm, Fox) - The stubborn owner of a Danish eatery in Miami doesn't want to update anything (then why did he invite this show to his restaurant!?!?), but Chef Ramsay finds something in the cooler that causes him to shut the place down during the middle of dinner service. I don't even want to imagine.

Primetime: What Would You Do? (9pm, ABC) - The third season begins on this human interest show that puts actors in dangerous/controversial situations and then judges the strangers who don't intervene. It's equal parts fascinating and exploitative.

Real Time with Bill Maher (10pm, HBO) - Bill interviews historian Alan Brinkley and comedian Sarah Silverman.

What to Watch on Tuesday: Shirley Jones gets clean

Major League Baseball All-Star Game (8pm, Fox) - The All-Star game is back in St. Louis for the first time since 1966. Derek Jeter (left) was the top vote-getter in AL balloting.

Better Off Ted (9pm, ABC) - Linda is the scapegoat when Veridian is sued over a perfume that causes hornets to attack women.

Primetime: Family Secrets (10pm, ABC) - Tonight's focus is Michael Jackson's family. Primetime reports on how they are coping, and interviews Joe Jackson and Michael's siblings.

Saving Grace (10pm, TNT) - Grace's spiritual beliefs are tested when the team investigates the death of a Hasidic Jew found near a herd of deceased cows.

The Cleaner (10pm, A&E) - William is asked to help a drug addicted star, but discovers the star's parents also need help. Shirley Jones guest stars (wouldn't it be cool if the troubled younger star was played by Danny Bonaduce or David Cassidy?).

Got a question for Coach K?

Duke's most famous employee — apologies, President Brodhead — is the featured speaker next week during the university's quarterly Primetime event at the Bryan Center.

The event for Duke employees will be held Thursday, Jan. 22 at noon. Sandwiches and refreshments will be provided.

Mike Krzyzewski, he of the three national titles, Olympic Gold Medal and city of tents, will talk about his time as the U.S. Olympic Coach this past summer and about this season's Blue Devil squad.

Women's coach Joanne P. McCallie will be on hand as well to talk about her squad this season.

You can submit questions in advance. So if you're just dying to ask Coach K something - like how he motivates, what the deal is with all that floor-slapping, his thoughts on Bobby Knight, or why Trajan Langdon had the ball at the end of the 1999 championship game rather than William Avery, click here.
