How I Met Your Mother (8pm, CBS) - The gang accompanies Marshall to Minnesota in the wake of his father's death, and Marshall meets the bully who used to terrorize him in high school.

House (8pm, Fox) - House tries to avoid Cuddy's birthday dinner because her opinionated mother (Candice Bergen, left) will be there. I can't wait for this. Bergen is scheduled to appear in a multiple-episode arc.

The Bachelor (8pm, ABC) - Emily, the former fiance of late NASCAR driver Ricky Hendrick, finally tells the girls in the house about her tragic past. But will she able to tell Brad on their romantic one-on-one date? Also, Seal serenades one of Brad's dates and one woman asks to leave the competition. Look for a recap of the show late tonight.

Piers Morgan Tonight (9pm, CNN) - The first show from the "Larry King Live" replacement, which is hosted by TV personality Piers Morgan. Morgan's first guest is Oprah Winfrey.

Being Human (9pm, Syfy) - The first episode in a new series that follows three supernatural beings who try to live like humans. It's a remake of a very popular British series. See our review.

Harry's Law (10pm, NBC) - Kathy Bates stars in a quirky new legal drama from David E. Kelley (is there any other kind of David E. Kelley drama?). Bates plays a once-successful patent attorney named Harriet Korn, who is fired and decides to start over with her own practice. She opens an office in an abandoned shoe store in a rough section of Cincinnati and in her first case, defends a troubled young man (Aml Ameen) facing his third drug offense. Nate Corddry joins the firm as another attorney and Brittany Snow plays the secretary. We didn't get a copy to preview, but the buzz is "meh." We like David E. Kelley and Kathy Bates, so we're giving it a shot.

Skins (10pm, MTV) - In yet another American adaptation of a British show, this edgy new series is aimed at teens. Tonight, Tony offers to help Stanley lose his virginity. Should your teens watch? Adrienne helps you answer that question.

TheWrap.com is reporting that CNN is in negotiations with British television host Piers Morgan to replace Larry King on the network's primetime interview show.

King will step down from "Larry King Live" this fall.

Morgan is a judge on "America's Got Talent" and "Britian's Got Talent" and was also a winner on NBC's "Celebrity Apprentice."

So I guess CNN decided not to go the "journalist" route....

If you haven't heard, David Hasselhoff has left NBC's hit, Simon Cowell-produced "America's Got Talent."

He says he's going to work on his own show.

Well, Life & Style Weekly says it knows who the new judge will be: Howie Mandel.

The "Deal or No Deal", the tabloid reports, host will join Sharon Osbourne and Piers Morgan for the fifth season.
