What to Watch on Saturday: "Persons Unknown" finale, new Hallmark movie

Persons Unknown (8pm, NBC) - I'm not sure I get any of this. Apparently there's an 11th episode called "Seven Sacrifices" that is not running on television, but you can watch it online at NBC.com or Hulu. Then tonight we get episodes 12 and 13, with 13 being the finale. First, the gang's supplies vanish while they're searching for Ulrich and Janet, leaving them to fend for themselves. In the finale, the abductees escape after a van crashes, and they try to restore normalcy to their lives. NBC has promoted "Persons Unknown" as a mini-series, but are also calling tonight's finale a "season finale." No word yet if the show will return next summer.

Bad Dog! (8pm, Animal Planet) - The opener of a new series that spotlights ill-behaved pets throughout the world.

The Wish List (9pm, Hallmark) - A perfectionist played by Jennifer Espisito makes a list of qualities she's looking for in a mate and soon finds a seemingly ideal guy (Mark Deklin). But she's also drawn to a kooky barista (David Sutcliffe) who encourages her to loosen up and explore her creative side.

Meteor Apocalypse (9pm, Syfy) - An enormous meteor explodes in the Earth's atmosphere, raining down deadly debris across the globe. And experts predict that in three days, Los Angeles will be destroyed. One frantic father embarks on a desperate race to rescue his wife and daughter before it's too late.

What to Watch on Saturday: Garbage moguls get creative

Garbage Moguls (8pm, National Geographic Channel) - A new series documenting the work at TerraCycle Inc, a green company that makes products from trash. Three episodes in a row air tonight. In the first, the company makes a line of pet products from recycled dog food bags. In the second episode at 9pm, plastic trash cans are made from potato chip bags and fishing lures are made from old cds. And at 10pm, investors offer TerraCycle a retail store for free, but the catch is they have to renovate, design, and stock it in 24 hours.

Persons Unknown (8pm, NBC) - The group feel confined and uneasy after learning they'll be restricted to the hotel, and things only get worse when they find personal items in their rooms. 

Lake Placid 3 (9pm, Syfy) - A game warden (Colin Ferguson) moves into his aunt's lakeside cabin with his wife and young son. The little boy feeds the resident baby crocodiles until they grow up to be monstrous creatures that meanace the family.

Guitar Center Sessions: Peter Gabriel (9pm, Network 101) - The premiere of a new series from featuring musicians answering questions from an audience and performing their work. Only available on DirecTV.

Who is the Real Joran van der Sloot (10pm, A&E) - An examination of the murder case against Joran van der Sloot through forensic evidence, psychological examinations, and opinions from those who know him. Van der Sloot is accused in the 2005 disappearance of Natalee Holloway and recently confessed to killing a woman in Peru.

What to Watch on Saturday: Dean Cain battles Syfy "Frost Giant"

Persons Unknown (8pm, NBC) - Joe experiences scary side effects from his reeducation that alienate some of those in the group, and a new night manager arrives to restore order.

Cops (8pm, Fox) - Throwing out this "Cops" rerun so that a loyal reader can play his favorite drinking game: Tranny, Runner, or Drunk Crier? Two drinks for shirtless.

Last Chance Highway (8pm, Animal Planet) - Shelly rushes a rescue to the emergency room after complications from surgery, then has to save a dog with bad teeth from being put down at a shelter.

Frost Giant (9pm, Syfy) - An original Syfy movie in which a frozen alien ice monster menaces humans at a frozen outpost (maybe they can get Yukon Cornelius to tame him). Dean Cain (right) plays the leader of a group of explorers who digs up the creature, which has been buried for more than 200 years. After the monster kills the explorers, he heads to the mainland and begins to suck the energy from the earth. Also stars Lucy Brown.

What to Watch on Saturday: New movies from Hallmark, Lifetime

Best Food Ever (7pm, TLC) - A mini-marathon of episodes from a new TLC show narrated by John Goodman. Tonight, the cross-country culinary tour show will feature episodes called Sensational Sandwiches, Fab Food Carts, Buzzworthy BBQ,

Last Chance Highway (8pm, Animal Planet) - Two dogs scheduled to be put down in Memphis are rescued, and a pit bull is rescued and reunited with her sister in New York City.

Persons Unknown (8pm, NBC) - Joe endures a series of visions designed to return him to the program and shift his focus from Janet. 

Lies Between Friends (9pm, Hallmark) - An art authenticator played by Gabrielle Anwar (Fiona from "Burn Notice," at right) helps a sheriff (Craig Sheffer) investigate the murder of her former roommate. The two women were prepared to settle an old dispute during a weekend trip with college friends, but the murder occurs before the reconciliation can take place.

Within (9pm, Lifetime) - A thriller in which a little girl (newcomer Mia Ford) with the ability to see evil in others comes to a new town with her father after witnessing her mother's murder. Children in the town are being attacked and the girl's gift could be instrumental in finding the perpetrator.

What to Watch on Saturday: New TV movies in battle of good vs. evil

The Bridge (8pm, CBS) - A retired narcotics cop is killed along with his informant, prompting Internal Affairs to look for a killer from within the police department. Meanwhile, Frank cuts a deal with a former crime boss to help a jailed ex-cop.

Persons Unknown (8pm, NBC) - Dread sweeps through the group when Joe falls seriously ill, and even though Erika has the antidote, she won't give it to him unless he confesses his secret. Elsewhere, reporter Renbe and Kat attend Tori's funeral in Rome, and discover that Tori's ambassador father is also looking into her disappearance.

Jack's Family Adventure (9pm, Hallmark) - A successful ad man (Jonathan Silverman, left) tries to reconnect with his family by taking them on a monthlong vacation to a rustic cabin he recently inherited. The family is resistant at first, but start to enjoy themselves when they meet a cowboy (Peter Strauss) who teaches them about life's simpler pleasures.

Goblin (9pm, Syfy) - And now for a less family friendly offering... In this original Syfy movie, Halloween spawns a goblin that is determined to take a baby from an unsuspecting family, and it's up to their teenage daughter to save her baby brother from becoming the monster's meal. (Note to self: What the hell...)

What to Watch on Monday: Comics, cowboys, and hip hop

Last Comic Standing (8pm, NBC) - It's the two-hour premiere of "Comic's" season seven, and there's a new host (Craig Robinson), new judges, and two hopefuls from North Carolina.

Lie to Me (8pm, Fox) - Cal suspects a charming psych student is guilty of murder, but the man is being protected by his professor. Meanwhile, Loker and Torres investigate a claim by a teacher (Howard Hesseman) who says he saw a UFO. 

2010 Hip Hop Honors (9pm, VH1) - The seventh annual gala pays tribute to Dirty South music. Performers include Bun B, Lil Jon, T-Pain, and Pitbull. Craig Robinson is also hosting this. 

Good Guys (9pm, Fox) - In the second episode of Fox's farcical buddy cop show, Dan and Jack (Bradley Whitford, Colin Hanks) start out working a simple vandalism case that puts them on the trail of thieves who stole vintage cars. 

Persons Unknown (10pm, NBC) - In this drama pilot, seven strangers are abducted and taken to a deserted town where they discover they're under constant surveillance and escape won't be easy. One member of the group receives a message telling her to kill someone in order to gain her freedom. 

Last American Cowboy (10pm, Animal) - The premiere episode of a new reality series following the lives of three Montana ranching families as they manage their stock from birth to auction. Tonight, calfing season begins. Check out this video preview, an introduction to "the cowboy way."
