Today, a flashback: "The Mod Squad: Season 1, Volume 1."

It's the first 13 of 26 episodes in which we meet rich boy Pete Cochran (Michael Cole), Lincoln "Linc" Hayes (Clarence Williams III), the afro-ed guy from Watts, and flower child Julie Barnes (Peggy Lipton). The three become undercover detectives, recruited by police captain Adam Greer (Tige Andrews) to help the fuzz take down some bad guys.
