The News & Observer's  coupon database has been updated with all of Sunday's new coupons.

This Sunday's home-delivered Final Edition of The News & Observer contains three inserts -- one Smart Source, a Red Plum and a P&G -- for a total of nearly 200 coupons. There's also a sheet of a dozen Target store coupons.

It's a handy tool, listing every coupon we receive in the Triangle in the Sunday N&O.

Reading from left to right, you'll see a description of the coupon; the value of the coupon and how many the coupon requires you to purchase; the expiration date; the date the coupon was released; and the name of the insert in which the coupon can be found.

If there are multiple inserts of the same type in a single week, I'll number them in the database, ie. RP1, RP2. Click the "Insert Key" in blue at the top of the database to help you identify each insert in those cases.

Expiring coupons are listed in bold.

This Sunday's home-delivered Final Edition of The News & Observer contains four inserts -- one Smart Source, two Red Plum and a P&G BrandSaver -- for a total of 226 coupons (and several rebates) with a face value of more than $240.

Big news for coupon clippers this weekend.

Look for four coupon inserts -- one Smart Source, two Red Plums and the February P&G BrandSaver -- in this Sunday's home-delivered Final Edition of The News & Observer.

Don't miss your chance to sign up for as many as six FREEBIES and more than a dozen coupons from Procter & Gamble's extremely generous sampling program.

All you have to do is sign up for a P&G BrandSampler account and you'll be able to request the samples and coupons.

If you're a coupon clipper, it's time to celebrate.

There will be a total of 220 coupons with a face value of approximately $343.  And that's before every-day double coupons, which we're fortunate to have at Kroger, Harris Teeter and Lowes Foods.

Since Christmas lands on a Sunday this year, there won't be any coupon inserts in Sunday's newspaper.

There will, however, be a handful of coupons in Parade magazine.

This is one of those rare weekends when we won't receive coupon inserts in the Sunday newspaper.

Take advantage of the lull and get caught up on your clipping and filing from previous weeks. At least that's what I'll be doing.

I have two stacks of coupons -- divided into food and non-food categories -- that I just haven't had the time to file!

Even though it's a holiday weekend, we will have coupons to clip on Sunday.

One Procter & Gamble insert is scheduled. It will contain 47 coupons with a face value of $74.

That's before every-day doubling at Harris Teeter, Lowes Foods and Kroger, of course.
