An Indiana steel company will expand its fabrication manufacturing plant in Mount Airy by adding 20 jobs.
Ottenweller Co. will qualify for up to $100,000 in state and local financial incentives for creating the jobs with an average salary of $30,571, not including benefits.
Ottenweller currently employs 60 at its Mount Airy facility, about 140 miles west of Raleigh, where it plans to invest more than $1.5 million over three years.
The company qualified for a $50,000 One North Carolina Grant, contingent on creating the new jobs. The state grant requires local matches.
