Amazing Race 23 (8pm, CBS) - The 23rd installment begins in Los Angeles with 11 two-member teams flying to Chile.
Once Upon a Time (8pm, ABC) - In the third season opener, Henry's search party arrive in Neverland and encounter some unwelcoming mermaids.
Breaking Bad (9pm, AMC) - The best show on television (maybe ever?) comes to a close tonight. I have a hundred different theories about what could happen and they are probably all wrong. No doubt creator Vince Gilligan will present fans with a stunner. "Talking Bad" airs immediately after at 10:15 with guests Gilligan, Aaron Paul, Giancarlo Esposito, Jonathan Banks, Jesse Plemmons, RJ Mitte and Jimmy Kimmel.
Homeland (9pm, Showtime) - Season 3 begins with Brody remaining at large while Carrie is called to testify before a senate committee investigating the terrorist bombing in D.C. Meanwhile, Saul takes command of the CIA.
The Good Wife (9pm, CBS) - Alicia tries to prevent a convicted murderer from being executed in the fifth season opener, while also secretly planning her exit from the firm.
Revenge (9pm, ABC) - In the Season 3 opener, Emily has a new timeline as she renews her quest for revenge, and Victoria reunites with her long-lost eldest son, complicating things for the family.
Masters of Sex (10pm, Showtime) - A new series dramatically depicting the lives of sex researchers William Masters (Michael Sheen, left) and Virginia Johnson (Lizzy Caplan, left). In the opener, Masters begins conducting a secret study of human sexuality and meets Johnson, a former nightclub singer who joins the hospital staff and later assists with Masters' work.
The Mentalist (10pm, CBS) - In the Season 6 premiere, a missing man turns up dead two years after he disappeared. Meanwhile, Jane and Lisbon secretly try to narrow down their pool of Red John suspects.
Betrayal (10pm, ABC) - In this new drama's opener, a photographer begins an affair with a lawyer for a powerful family, but their secret's in jeopardy when her ambitious husband is the prosecutor in a high-profile murder case in which her paramour is defending the prime suspect. Sound confusing? Believe me, it is.
Eastbound & Down (10pm, HBO) - In the Season 4 premiere, Kenny Powers is now a family man, but a night out with a former teammate and current TV star has him yearning for the limelight.
Hello Ladies (10:30pm, HBO) - Stephen Merchant stars in this new comedy about an English web designer in LA who fancies himself a ladies man.
