What to Watch on Sunday: Bates Battaglia could win 'Amazing Race' tonight

The Simpsons (8pm, Fox) - Lisa voices her displeasure at a hologram of music legend Bleeding Gums Murphy, and Sonny Rollins (as himself) shows up to ask her to stop boycotting the record label. Also, Grandpa is injured while babysitting Bart and then decides he'd rather be looked after by his grandson than by the nursing home.

Amazing Race 22 (8pm, CBS) - In the season finale, the final four teams continue to race in Belfast, Ireland, and former Carolina Hurricanes player Bates Battaglia and his brother Anthony (left) are in the mix. After one team is eliminated, the remaining players fly to Washington, D.C., and scour some of the city's historic landmarks for a chance to win $1 million. Will Bates and Anthony come out on top? Mr. Selfridge (9pm, UNC-TV) - Arthur Conan Doyle convinces Harry to allow a seance to be held at the store. Also, Agnes transfers to the fashion department and develops a closer relationship with Henri.

Game of Thrones (9pm, HBO) - Robb considers a compromise to mend his alliance with House Frey. Meanwhile, Melisandre visits the Riverlands and Tywin plans strategic unions for the Lannisters.

Revenge (9pm, ABC) - Emily adjusts to being Daniel's fiancee again and plans her next move, but Aiden has trouble accepting her new role.

Nurse Jackie (9pm, Showtime) - A heavily medicated Jane Doe is brought into the ER and Jackie orders Zoey to find out her identity.

Mad Men (10pm, AMC) - Roger changes tack to make new business and Pete has an awkward run-in with a client.

The Bletchley Circle (10pm, UNC-TV) - In the Season 1 finale, the killer becomes obsessed with Susan and plants a series of false clues in order to lead her into a trap.

The Amazing Race 22 (8pm, CBS) - The race continues and Bates Battaglia and his brother Anthony are still in it! Watch the action in Edinburgh, Scotland, tonight and check out Adrienne's recap here tomorrow.

Nurse Jackie (9pm, Showtime) - After a custody mediation, Jackie smashes Kevin's car and awakens in All Saints' ER. Later, Kevin accuses her of using drugs.

The Good Wife (9pm, CBS) - In the fourth season finale, Alicia attends emergency court proceedings with Peter's gubernatorial election on the line. Zach believes he witnessed vote tampering, resulting in late-night meetings for the campaign staff. Meanwhile, an unlikely source offers Cary aid to start his own firm, and Alicia is forced to face her conflicted feelings in her personal and professional lives.

Revenge (9pm, ABC) - Emily, Nolan and Aiden work to unmask the Falcon, while Victoria gives a revealing interview to "Nightline" and must then deal with the fallout.

Mad Men (10pm, AMC) - Peggy plans for the future, while Roger courts a potential client.

Veep (10pm, HBO) - A hostage crisis in Uzbekistan intensifies the animosity between Selina and the Secretary of Defense during a joint press conference at the Marine Corp base at Quantico.

The Bletchley Circle (10pm, UNC-TV) - Susan, Millie, Lucy and Jean undertake the investigation themselves after Scotland Yard dismisses their theories about the case. They set a trap for their suspect, but things don't go as they planned.

Oprah: Where Are They Now? (10pm, OWN) - Updates on Heidi Fleiss and rapper Bow Wow, but also, a tribute to Roger Ebert.

What to Watch on Sunday: Redford and crew revisit 'All the President's Men'

The Good Wife (9pm, CBS) - Alicia takes a case involving software coders in a contract dispute as a favor to her mother, but the case leads to unexpected consequences at the firm. Also, Peter asks Alicia to renew their vows.

Game of Thrones (9pm, HBO) - Frayed nerves and empty stomachs test the mettle of a depleted Night's Watch at Craster's. Meanwhile, Margaery takes Joffrey out of his comfort zone, and gives Sansa a glimpse of the future.

All the President's Men: Revisited (9pm, Discovery) - A look at the making of the 1976 film "All the President's Men" includes interviews with actors Robert Redford and Dustin Hoffman and with authors of the book, Carl Bernstein and Bob Woodward. The special, narrated by Redford and directed by Peter Schnall, considers the historical ramifications of the Watergate account as well as its impact on popular culture.

Remember Sunday (9pm, ABC) - Aw, Rory and Chuck fall in love! In this Hallmark Hall of Fame movie, a lonely waitress (Alexis Bledel) falls for a jewelry store clerk (Zachary Levi) despite his nonchalance and absentmindedness. But what she's unaware of is the damage a brain aneurysm did to his short-term memory, and to him every day is brand new. Sound familiar? Then you probably saw Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore in "50 First Dates." But still. It's Rory and Chuck. Check out Adrienne's review.

Nurse Jackie (9pm, Showtime) - Jackie and Kevin's divorce mediation hits a wall when he demands full custody. Later, Coop threatens to quit after not being named Chief of the ER, but Jackie talks him down.

Army Wives (9pm, Lifetime) - Gloria ends her relationship with Patrick and Denise tries to ease the tension between Gloria and Jackie.

Mad Men (10pm, AMC) - The partners try to keep a secret campaign under wraps, while Joan gets a visit from an old friend.

The Bletchley Circle (10pm, UNC-TV) - The premiere of a three-part mystery series about four female ex-code breakers in post-WWII Britain. Tonight, Susan calls on her old pals Millie, Lucy and Jean to help after she picks up on a pattern shared by several murders.

What to Watch on Sunday: 'Veep' and 'Nurse Jackie' head a night of premieres

The '80s: The Decade That Made Us (8pm, National Geographic Channel) - Part one of a six-part 1980s retrospective (narrated by Rob Lowe) looks at the entertainment world. Part two, airing at 9, looks at "revolutionaries" -- Steve Jobs, Ted Turner and the cofounders of Ben & Jerry's ice cream. Also, a look at the attempt on Ronald Reagan's life. The remaining installments will run on Monday and Tuesday nights starting at 8.

Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown (9pm, CNN) - Anthony Bourdain's new travel documentary show premieres tonight with a look at the country of Myanmar.

MTV Movie Awards (9pm, MTV, VH1) - Rebel Wilson hosts the 22nd annual event. The winner for Movie of the Year is chosen by fans.

Nurse Jackie (9pm, Showtime) - In the Season 5 premiere, a bus accident makes for a busy day at All Saints, as two new doctors join the rotation. Meanwhile, O'Hara is content spending every minute with her new son, and Akalitus gives Eddie his old job back.

The Good Wife (9pm, CBS) - Alicia represents a girl who accuses a classmate of rape, a case that draws interest from the hacker group Anonymous, who, in turn, get the public talking about the trial.

Mr. Selfridge (9pm, UNC-TV) - Harry invites a famous ballerina to appear at the store, but the publicity event doesn't go as planned, thanks to Ellen Love.

Veep (10pm, HBO) - In the second season premiere, a string of effective campaign appearances for midterm elections boosts Selina's confidence, but negotiating with a senior White House strategist will require a bit more than just a rising popularity in polls.

The Borgias (10pm, Showtime) - In the Season 3 opener, the poisoned Pope Alexander (Jeremy Irons) fights for his life and the cardinals jockey to take over the papacy, while Cesare and Micheletto try to track the assassin.

Mad Men (10pm, AMC) - Don has a difference of opinion with a client, while Peggy has problems motivating her staff.

Naked Castaway (10pm, Discovery) - Water, food and shelter are sought in the opener of this new series, in which a survivalist spends 60 days on a deserted island.

What to Watch on Sunday: 'Falling Skies' back on TNT, finales on HBO and Showtime

True Blood (9pm, HBO) - Eric and Bill try to keep their wits about them when they're interrogated at the Vampire Authority headquarters in New Orleans, while Pam recalls her first meeting with Eric in early 20th-century San Francisco. Christopher Meloni ("Law & Order: SVU") makes his first vampiric appearance. 

Falling Skies (9pm, TNT) - The two-hour Season 2 premiere opens with Pope seizing command of a renegade contingent within the 2nd Mass Unit. Later, Tom suddenly returns to the group after being abducted by the skitters, and his loyalty is questioned. In the second hour, Tom is plagued by haunting memories of his time with the aliens and begins to speculate that they may have tampered with his mind.

The Killing (9pm, AMC) - In the Season 2 finale, Sarah and Holder's investigation comes to a close, while Richmond sets out on a bold new course. And a surprising source helps bring closure to the Larsens.

Nurse Jackie (9pm, Showtime) - In the Season 4 finale, Cruz pushes Jackie to the breaking point and Jackee's reaction gets her fired. Later, Dr. O'Hara goes into labor with Jackie by her side, but something pulls Jackie away before delivery.

The Big C (9:30pm, Showtime) - In the Season 3 finale, Cathy befriends a mysterious stranger and Paul enjoys the attentions of an American tourist.

Longmire (10pm, A&E) - Longmire suspects foul play when a barn burns to the ground, killing the owner and his beloved horses.

The Borgias (10pm, Showtime) - In the Season 2 finale, a tragic revelation leaves the family in shock and Della Rovere's assassin makes a move.

Girls (10pm, HBO) - In the first season finale, Jessa brings everyone together for a "mystery party," but other surprises are in store when Hannah misjudges Adam's commitment.

What to Watch on Sunday: Big changes loom in 'Good Wife' season finale

The Good Wife (9pm, CBS) - The third season ends with Lockhart and Gardner facing bankruptcy as Louis Canning (Michael J. Fox) and Patti Hyholm (Martha Plimpton) join forces to sink the firm. Meanwhile, Alicia faces her conflicted feelings about Peter, and Kalinda's past catches up with her.

Breakout Kings (9pm, A&E) - In the Season 2 finale, the gang track a fugitive who used to perform in the circus as an escape artist. Later, they have a difficult choice when a case they're barred from being involved in turns personal.

Mad Men (9pm, AMC) - Don, Roger and Pete team up to recruit new clients, and Sally lends a hand to a relative.

Game of Thrones (9pm, HBO) - The Baratheon rivalry ends, drawing different reactions from Catelyn and Littlefinger. Also Tyrion finds Joffrey's defense plan at King's Landing lacking, but also learns of a mysterious secret weapon.

TV Land Awards (9pm, TV Land) - Kelly Ripa hosts the 10th annual ceremony, which honors revered shows and stars from TV's past. Tonight, the show receiving the Impact Award is my all-time favorite, "Murphy Brown" (cast at left). Also honored, "One Day at a Time," "Laverne & Shirley," "In Living Color," and "Pee-wee's Playhouse."

The Celebrity Apprentice (9pm, NBC) - A very close call for Clay Aiken in the boardroom last week. Tonight, Clay clashes with Dayana Mendoza and loses it. Should be fun to watch.

The Big C (9:30pm, Showtime) - Cathy embraces new changes in her personal life, and Adam and Andrea deal with their personal issues in their own way.

GCB (10pm, ABC) - Amanda assemblese an all-female barbecue team for a cook-off. Meanwhile, Heather meets a handsome butcher and Sharon helps Zack with his dealership problems.

Veep (10pm, HBO) - The Veep is unexpectedly called to the White House Situation Room and later falls victim to a stomach bug that's going around.

What to Watch on Sunday: Tearjerkers, politics and Poitier

Finding Your Roots (8pm, UNC-TV) - Henry Louis Gates, Jr. researches the family histories of Robert Downey Jr. and Maggie Gyllenhaal, which both feature European immigrant stories common to many Americans.

Firelight (9pm, ABC) - A Hallmark Hall of Fame movie about a counselor (Cuba Gooding Jr, left) at a Georgia correctional facility for young women who tries to help the inmates turn their lives around by forming a group of volunteers to battle forest fires, perform rescue missions and respond to natural disasters. The Killing (9pm, AMC) - Sarah receives a message from the dead that may shed light on the identity of Rosie's killer, and Mitch befriends a young runaway.

The Celebrity Apprentice (9pm, NBC) - The celebrities (including Clay Aiken, who is still going strong in the competition) must create an in-store display and a slogan for a new fragrance. But not without hitches, of course. Expect another big fight between Arsenio Hall and Aubrey O'Day. If you're behind on the show, you can catch up with our "Celebrity Apprentice" recaps.

Birdsong (9pm, UNC-TV) - Part 1 of a 2-part "Masterpiece Classic" presentation of an adaptation of the Sebastian Faulks novel about a British lieutenant in World War I whose memories of a prewar romance with a married French woman both sustain and haunt him.

Nurse Jackie (9pm, Showtime) - Jackie leaves rehab and finds that working at All Saints while sober is a little unsettling, and Zoey second-guesses her relationship with Lenny.

Veep (10pm, HBO) - In the premiere of a hilarious new comedy following the public and private lives of U.S. Vice President Selina Meyer (Julia Louis-Dreyfus, right) and her bumbling staff, the office goes into damage-control over a cornstarch gaffe (hard to explain). Mad Men (10pm, AMC) - Peggy  has a tough time during a particularly formidable pitch.

Oprah Presents Master Class (10pm, OWN) - In part 1 of a two-part interview, Sidney Poitier recalls how he made it to Hollywood from his childhood in the Bahamas, and how he overcame racial prejudice on his way up.

Girls (10:30pm, HBO) - Jessa doesn't show up for her appointment at a women's clinic, while Hannah is preoccupied by her own health issues. Later, Shoshanna reveals some surprising news.

What to Watch on Sunday: A Mike Wallace tribute and a batch of new shows

60 Minutes (7pm, CBS) - Tonight, a tribute to longtime "60 Minutes" correspondent Mike Wallace, who died last week at the age of 93.

Titanic (9pm, ABC) - The conclusion to Julian Fellowes' miniseries based on the sinking of the Titanic.

The Good Wife (9pm, CBS) - Alicia is forced back into the public spotlight by Peter's latest political rival.

The Mystery of Edwin Drood (9pm, UNC-TV) - An adaptation of Charles Dickens' unfinished story about an opium-addled choirmaster (played by Matthew Rhys, who was Kevin Walker on "Brothers & Sisters") who believes his nephew stands between him and the woman he fancies. When the nephew goes missing, the question is, did the uncle murder him or did someone else?

Nurse Jackie (9pm, Showtime) - Carmelo Anthony has a small part in tonight's episode, which focuses on Jackie's stint in rehab.

The Celebrity Apprentice (9pm, NBC) - Clay is still in the game. Tonight, the teams must design two original puppets and perform an improvisational show with a Henson Alternative troupe. Expect: drama drama drama.

NYC 22 (10pm, CBS) - A new series about six NYPD rookies trying to balance their personal lives with work. Tonight, rookies go on their first patrol and try to prevent a gang war and a domestic murder. Here's Adrienne's review.

Mad Men (10pm, AMC) - Tonight's cryptic episode summary: Lane makes an interesting friend and Pete plays host to an assortment of guests.

Girls (10:30pm, HBO) - In the premiere of a new comedy about a group of twentysomething women navigating life in New York, Hannah (Lena Dunham) gets shattering news from her parents and then loses her unpaid internship. This series is crazy good. Here's my full review.

What to Watch on Sunday: Some favorites return on Showtime

Titanic: The Final Word with James Cameron (8pm, NGC) - National Geographic Explorer-in-Residence James Cameron, who also directed the blockbuster "Titanic" film, assembles the world's leading experts on the sunken ship to investigate lingering mysteries of how and why the "unsinkable" ship sank.

Nurse Jackie (9pm, Showtime) - Season 4 opens as the hospital has been taken over by a multinational corporation and placed in the care of a no-nonsense doctor (Bobby Cannavale) who is eager to make changes to the hospital and staff. Meanwhile, Kevin and Jackie have split and Jackie's troubling encounter with a fellow drug user (Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong) helps propel her into rehab. I got to watch nearly the whole season and it's worth sticking with.

Great Expectations (9pm, UNC-TV) - The conclusion of newest version of the Charles Dickens classic. Tonight, Pip is in London, where his guardian explains his allowance. In time he learns the ways of gentlemen, and he falls further in love with Estella.

The Killing (9pm, AMC) - Sarah searches for Rosie's backpack, while Richmond comes to grips with his diagnosis of paralysis, and Mitch finally turns up.

What to Watch on Monday: Cuddy's mom threatens to sue on 'House'

House (8pm, Fox) - Cuddy's mother (Candice Bergen, left with Lisa Edelstein) considers filing a malpractice suit against the hospital (why doesn't this happen more often on this show?!), which could put her daughter's and House's medical licenses in jeopardy. Meanwhile, luck runs out for a partially paralyzed lottery winner (Donal Logue, 'Terriers').

Chuck (8pm, NBC) - Chuck puts spying on hold to enjoy his bachelor party, but the bash takes surprising turns thanks to some surprising guests.

Chicago Code (9pm, Fox) - Teresa and Jarek face a big setback in their war against Gibbons when a crooked city official gets acquitted by a deadlocked jury. They look into the situation and find not only jury tampering, but other misdeeds as well.

Castle (10pm, ABC) - Antics move to Los Angeles, as Beckett goes rogue to pursue a suspect in her former partner's murder. Castle tags along and the two visit the movie set of "Heat Wave," where the cast proves to be helpful in breaking open the case.

Nurse Jackie (10pm, Showtime) - Akalitus is in an uproar as workers from the archdiocese remove her religious statues, and a pushy new temp nurse (Gbenga Akinnagbe, 'The Wire') makes his presence known in the ER.

Hawaii Five-0 (10pm, CBS) - A famous fashion photographer (Rick Springfield) who is in Hawaii to shoot a sports magazine's annual swimsuit issue is murdered. Detectives should really lock down the whereabouts of Jessie.
