Cary Academy has a first round bye in the N.C. Independent Schools Athletic Association 3-A volleyball playoffs.  It will play the winner between a Tuesday game between Durham Academy and North Raleigh Christian.
 

In the N.C. Independent Schools Athletic Association, only the 3A schools play for a team playoff. The 1A and 2A classifications play for individual titles only.

Undefeated Cary Academy has a first-round bye and is seeded second in the 3A bracket.

Cary Academy is the top seed in the NCISAA 3-A volleyball playoffs, while Cary Christian is the second seed in the 2-A and Trinity School of Durham is the third seed in the 1-A. Volleyball playoffs start Tuesday and will end on Saturday.
