NCIS (8pm, CBS) - The ninth season ends with terrorism shaking the foundations of the Navy and NCIS, devastating Gibbs and his team.
Cougar Town (8pm, ABC) - Two new back-to-back episodes of "Cougar Town" this week (I have the feeling ABC is burning them off and can't get the show
over to TBS fast enough). In the first, hurricane damage to Grayson's place forces him to move in with Jules. In the second, the crew holds Thanksgiving in the spring (because they missed it in the fall) and there's an incident involving Big Carl.
NCIS: LA (9pm, CBS) - In a two-hour season finale, Callen (Chris O'Donnell, right) and the NCIS team confront their vengeful adversary, the Chameleon, when an undercover case ignites a deadly mind game orchestrated by the criminal mastermind.
Fashion Star (10pm, NBC) - A winner is revealed in the Season 1 finale.
Private Practice (10pm, ABC) - Season 5 ends with Amelia going into labor Addison facing a tough decision. Also, Pete and Violet realize what they mean to each other after he finds himself in trouble.
American Experience: The Amish (8pm, UNC-TV) - This originally ran in the middle of night back in February, so it's good to see it getting a more accessible airtime. Filmed over the course of a year, this American Experience documentary seeks to answer questions about the insular religious community of the Amish. Filmmakers received unprecedented access to the Amish community and it's said to be the first film to deeply penetrate the profoundly private group. It also includes the first television interview with one of the parents of a schoolgirl murdered by Charles Roberts in 2006.
NCIS (8pm, CBS) - In the show's 200th episode, Gibbs (Mark Harmon) questions choices he's made when he stares down the barrel of a gun at a local diner.
Unforgettable (10pm, CBS) - A serial killer with knowledge of Carrie's memory skills taunts her and the police department as his list of victims grows. Emmy Award-winning actress Jane Curtin ("Saturday Night Live," "3rd Rock from the Sun") joins the cast tonight as a high-level inspector in the NYPD who until recently was running the Medical Examiner's office in Manhattan.
NCIS (8pm, CBS) - Boo! Fooled ya! Robert Wagner is arrested for murder but it's while he's playing Tony's dad on "NCIS." Wagner's character is suspected of murder when he's found in a car with a dead body and has no recollection of his actions. Tony is taken off the case, forcing him to disobey orders to prove his dad's innocence. Coincidentally, Wagner was just in the CBS lineup this past Saturday night, co-starring in an episode of "48 Hours Mystery: Vanity Fair Hollywood Scandal." On that show, a boat captain alleged that Wagner had a hand in the drowning death of his wife Natalie Wood in 1981. Awkward. (Note: That "48 Hours" episode was originally supposed to air this coming Saturday, November 26, but CBS rushed it to air a week early -- and so quickly that I didn't even know it was on. Here is the
Prayer for a Perfect Season (9pm, HBO) - A look at the 2010-11 boys' basketball season at St. Patrick's High School in Elizabeth, N.J. The documentary follows Kevin Boyle and his players on t heir trek towards a climactic, winner-take-all showdown against archrival St. Anthony's of Jersey City. The film includes comments from players and coaches.
Man Up! (8:30pm, ABC) - Three men in their thirties navigate -- and bemoan the state of -- modern manhood. It's not good, but it's not as bad as Tim Allen's bemoaning of modern manhood at 8pm. Here's
Prohibition (8pm, UNC-TV) - In the conclusion to this three-part documentary series, Ken Burns looks at the factors that led to the end of Prohibition, including the criminalization of alcohol which fed large profits into the coffers of criminal organizations and turned gangsters such as Al Capone into celebrities. Also, wealthy Pauline Sabine, who encouraged the repeal of the 18th Amendment and brought together women of all classes who supported her position.
Glee (8pm, Fox) - In the Season 3 premiere, the glee kids are depressed following their disappointing showing at Regionals, so Will assigns them a project to get them back on track. Also, Sue Sylvester is running for Congress.
