Pack ends Spain trip with another win

N.C. State will leave Spain without a loss.

The Wolfpack completed a five-game, 10-day trip with an 86-71 win on Monday against CB Gran Canaria.

Junior forward C.J. Leslie led N.C. State with 19 points and freshman point guard Tyler Lewis added 14 points and eight assists.

Warren leads Pack to 85-70 win

T.J. Warren is making the most of his chances on N.C. State's preseason trip to Spain. Warren, a freshman from Durham, led the Wolfpack with 26 points in its 85-70 win over CB Gran Canaria on Friday at the Grand Canary Islands.

Warren, a McDonald's All-American, is expected to help State with perimeter scoring and as a post defender. He has been an explosive scorer in the first three games, getting extra minutes on the perimeter with guard Rodney Purvis back in Raleigh still waiting for clearance from the NCAA.

Pack cruises to second win in Spain

Before Lorenzo Brown left for Spain, the junior point guard assured N.C. State fans he was fine, despite needing knee surgery in June.

To his point, Brown has been the Wolfpack's best player in its first two exhibition games. Brown had 17 points and 10 assists in State's 80-57 win over CB Torrejon on Wednesday in Madrid.

Brown leads Pack to first win in Spain

Lorenzo Brown wasn't supposed to play against CB Torrejon on Tuesday. The Spanish pro team probably wishes the junior point guard didn't.

Brown scored 25 points to lead the Wolfpack to an 83-76 win over Torrejon in the first of five games on their 10-day trip to Spain.

Brown had minor knee surgery on June 26 and coach Mark Gottfried said before the trip they would be "cautious" with Brown.
