2011 East-West coaches announced

Richmond's Paul Hoggard will coach the East in the N.C. Coaches Association East-West football game next July in Greensboro. Other East all-star head coaches are Jeremiah Mattingly of Wake Forest-Rolesville (boys soccer), Jorg Wagner of Eastern Wayne (girls soccer),  Steve Robinson of Wallace-Rose Hill (boys basketball) and Debra Pegram of Wilson Beddingfield (girls basketball).

Pam Adams of Northern Durham is the girls coach in the North Carolina/ South Carolina all-star game and Fred Lynch of Wilmington Laney will coach the boys squad.

East-West football Wednesday night in Greensboro

The N.C. Coaches Association East-West all-star football game will be played Wednesday night at Greensboro Grimsley High. The kickoff is at 8 p.m. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for students.

East-West boys soccer tonight

The N.C. Coaches Association East-West boys soccer game is tonight at UNC-Greensboro. The boys 8:30 game will be preceded by the girls all-star game. Admission is $10 for the two games.

Girls soccer all-stars play tonight

The N.C. Coaches Association East-West all-star girls soccer game will be played tonight at UNC-Greensboro. The game is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Admission is $10. The girls game will be followed by the boys all-star game.

East-West boys all-star soccer rosters

Several area players have been named to the 2010 N.C. Coaches Association East-West All-Star boys soccer game. The game is scheduled for Tuesday, July 20 at UNC-Greensboro.

Among the players are Matt Wescoe of Garner, Glenn Scott and J.P. Rafferty of Sanderson, Chipper Root of Chapel Hill, Sonny Mukungu of Durham Jordan, Edgar Herrera of South Johnston and Harrison Delbridge of Broughton.
