A road filled with potholes

Muriel Watson writes: I have tried really hard to keep pushing forward, but every time I do, I feel like life just smacks me in the face.

Back on track

Muriel Watson writes: I am working really hard to continue back on my track.  I have started back on the Jorge Cruise Belly Fat Diet.  This was how I managed to lose the 108 pounds last year, so I figured if it worked the first time, it will work now.

Nightmare on the scale

Muriel Watson writes: This has been a very stressful week at work and of course that has led me to more challenges with my dieting.  I cried when I finally got back on the scale only to realize I had gained 12 pounds since the last time I weighed in
November.

Birthday blitz

Muriel Watson writes: January 15 was not only my birthday, but also my daughter's 16th birthday.  I wanted to make it special for her so, of course, we took her out for a birthday party.

What's the first thing you think of when I say birthday party?  Of course....CAKE!!!  Let's not forget the pizza and soda too. So, needless to say, I totally blew the whole eating right thing.

I could beat myself up about it, but I decided to go to bed and start over in the morning.  After all, the damage is done.  Nothing I can do to change it now.  So off to the gym again to work even harder to fix my "bump" in the road.

A little help from my friends

Muriel Watson is taking a team approach to weight loss. Who's helping her?

A lifelong struggle

I have struggled all my life with my weight.  I have tried every diet known including Slimfast, Weight Watchers, Curves, diet pills, eating only one meal a day, herbal weight loss pills, cabbage diet, Mayo-Clinic heart patient diet, and many more I am unable to remember.  I have read all kinds of weight loss books, including Dr. Phil and Dr. Oz.  All have lead to some weight loss at first, only to regain it back later, sometimes more.
