Muriel Watson writes: I have been trying to understand why I was able to lose over 100 pounds last year, what seemed to be rather easily, yet this year I have struggled to lose 30 pounds? That leads me to an idea that has been laying hard on my heart for the past few weeks. Gastric Bypass surgery.
Muriel Watson writes: I have noticed that my clothes are getting looser. I have gone from a 5x to a 2x in shirts and dresses now. I have gone from a 32 in pants to a 22-24, depending on the way they are made. It feels nice to be able to buy clothing in an actual store rather than only on line.
Muriel Watson writes: I am very happy to say that I have lost another 2.7 pounds this week! That brings my total weight lost since January 1, 2011 to 26.7 pounds.
Muriel Watson writes: All in all, this has been a great week for my weight loss. I am very happy to say that I have lost five pounds this week! That, in itself, is enough to keep me motivated. The fact that I have amazing friends and coworkers that are always there when I need them for support, makes it even sweeter.
Muriel Watson reunites with her biological mother and finds a more satisfying way to fill a void that led to years of emotional eating and weight gain.
Muriel Watson writes: I haven't been able to blog in so long, I have really missed it. I guess I should start with the good news. I have lost 13 pounds since my last blog! That should be great news and under normal circumstances it would be. However, the bad news would be how I lost it.
Muriel Watson writes: I am very happy to say that last week was much better than the rest!
Muriel Watson writes: I haven't lost any weight this week, but I have lost 2 inches. For the first time in a long time, I didn't have to go to some plus size store to buy new pants.
Muriel Watson writes: I have not been able to go to the gym but four times since my last blog entry. I am so disappointed with my efforts to stay focused on this journey.
Muriel Watson writes: My aunt always jokes if it wasn't for bad luck, I wouldn't have any luck at all! Sometimes it seems to be more reality than not.
