Another great bit of exposure for Kelly Shatat and her Apex-based jewelry line! Earlier this month she had a trunk show at Henri Bendel. She's also had some great press recently in magazines, including People and O, The Oprah Magazine.

Moon and Lola's Kelly Sheppard Shatat, is off to the Big Apple this week for a second trunk show of her jewelry line at Henri Bendel Friday and Saturday. Shatat, who runs the line out of Apex, says in a message to her Facebook fans that she'll have all the must-haves for fall, including statement necklaces, bright pieces and pieces with a mix of edge and elegance. "Pearls, rhinestones, multi-length chains and texture are just
a hint of what you will see in Moon and Lola's Fall collection!"

So if you're in the city or have friends who might want to see the collection, tell them to head over. And if you can't make it this time, she'll have another special showing at Henri Bendel Sept 15-16 during NYC Fashion Week.

Kudos to Apex jewelry designer Kelly Shatat, the creative brains behind the jewelry line Moon and Lola. She has her line in three national publications this month -- Redbook, Life & Style and People. Not too shabby! Especially considering she's recently been in O The Oprah Magazine. Buy her stuff online or at local stores such as Charlotte's in Raleigh. Raleigh jewelry designer Kelly Shatat, who designs under the name Moon and Lola, got a nice boost last week from People magazine (April 20 issue).

The designer's glass pearl necklace was featured as one of the "Get the Look!" pieces on how to copy Michelle Obama's meet-the-Queen outfit from her European trip (page 129). You know, the navy and white Isabel Toledo tank dress?

Shatat's necklace was the topper of the look. As a single strand, the necklace costs $48. But of course, to have just the right Michelle Obama look, it's got to be a double strand of pearls.
