The timing for this computer problem could be better.

The computer network that allows Wake high school students and parents to access electronic records, including changing courses, is partially down. You can't access the network from home so you'll have to go to a school or administrative building to log on.

Bill Poston, a school district spokesman, said they hope to have SPAN (Student/Parent Access Network) fully up by Friday or this weekend.
