Smart Balance Milk for Kids is a new product being launched at Harris Teeter stores in the Triangle and I've got free product coupons up for grabs.

Three readers will each get a coupon for one free carton, up to $4.49 in value.

Whole milk, Reduced Fat and Chocolate Low Fat varieties are available. The whole milk is formulated for children ages 12 to 24 months and the Reduced Fat and Chocolate varieties are aimed at kids 2 and up.

Gotta love the continuing good deals on milk we're seeing in the Triangle.

Starting today, July 11, Harris Teeter is offering milk for $2.49 per gallon through Tuesday, July 17.

That's not quite as good as Kroger's $1.99 price this week but still a terrific price.

If you've got a milk drinker in the house, I've got good news for you.

A gallon of milk, which will ususally run you $3.69 to $3.99 these days, is on sale this week at for $1.99. This is the lowest price I can recall in years.

Need milk? You're in luck this week.

Most varieties of milk are just $2.69 per gallon at Kroger.

That's about $1 per gallon lower than any other grocery store in the Triangle.

Coupon deals on organic foods are a little harder to come by so here's a big heads up on a nice deal at Lowes Foods available through Tuesday, May 29.

Kroger has milk on sale through Saturday for $2.88 per gallon -- the latest in a string of milk deals in the Triangle.

It's not quite as good as the milk deal at Aldi, where a gallon is just $2.69 through Tuesday.

But anytime you can score a gallon for under $3, you've gotten a good deal.
