Mel Brooks and Dick Cavett share memories in HBO special

The word "legend" is probably tossed around too much, but that doesn't mean it doesn't sometimes apply. In the case of Mel Brooks, it applies.

An HBO special airing tonight features Brooks ("The Producers," "Blazing Saddles," "Young Frankenstein") and talk show host Dick Cavett sharing hilarious show business memories.

"Mel Brooks and Dick Cavett Together Again," which airs at 9 p.m., was filmed in December 2010 at Saban Theatre in Los Angeles. Another legend, Carl Reiner, happened to be in the audience and joined in now and then. In the clip below, Reiner shares a memory about his collaboration with Brooks on their famous comedy skit, "The 2000 Year Old Man."
