State's Kushner out for the season

N.C. State backup tight end Matt Kushner is out for the season with a knee injury, the school announced Thursday evening.

Kushner injured his right knee late in the second quarter last week against William & Mary. As announced previously, starting tight end Anthony Hill will miss his second straight game with a muscle pull in his chest Saturday when the Wolfpack plays at Clemson.

Injury parade continues for Wolfpack

RALEIGH — Russell Wilson returns at quarterback for N.C. State this week but the injuries at the skill positions continue for the Wolfpack.

Second-string tight end Matt Kushner (knee) will miss the Clemson game on Saturday. Coach Tom O'Brien said starter Anthony Hill will miss his second straight game, with a strained chest muscle.
