It's back to the "Futurama"

Following in the footsteps of "Family Guy," Matt Groening's "Futurama" gets resurrected Thursdays at 10, because of great success in reruns and on DVD, particularly 4 DVD movies.

Unlike "Family Guy," it isn't being resurrected on Fox. Instead you can watch it on cable station Comedy Central (Perhaps, Fox's animation cash is sitting in Seth MacFarlane's pocket?)

So there will be 26 new episodes of the adventures of Philip  J. Fry (Billy West), a pizza delivery boy accidentally frozen in suspended animation in the year 2000, who wakes up  a thousand years later. He's still crazy for Leela (voiced by Katey Sagal), the hottest one-eyed pilot you'll ever meet and is buds with Bender (John DiMaggio), a crude (as in nasty) robot. In fact, all the original cast returns.

What to Watch on Sunday: "Chuck" and "Big Love" return

The Simpsons (8pm, Fox) - In the 450th episode, Krusty the Clown teams up with Princess Penelope (Anne Hathaway) and proposes marriage to her. Features the voices of Eartha Kitt and Jackie Mason

The Simpsons 20th Anniversary Special: In 3D! On Ice! (8:30pm, Fox) - Documentary filmmaker Morgan Spurlock interviews fans, cast members, writers, and celebrities in a celebration of the first 20 years of Matt Groening's animated masterpiece.

Chuck (9pm, NBC) - The third season of "Chuck" returns with two back-to-back episodes in which our favorite spy must figure out his new career path and also his relationship with Sarah. It's really good so please watch it.

Desperate Housewives (9pm, ABC) - In the aftermath of the plane crash (which resulted in Karl's death and Orson being paralyzed), Bree tries to undo some of the pain she has caused her husband.

Big Love (9pm, HBO) - In the season 4 premiere, Bill Henrickson (Bill Paxton) faces even more personal and professional challenges. He's launching the Mormon-friendly Indian casino (a storyline I grew very tired of in season three), dealing with leftover turmoil at the Juniper Creek compound, and of course, still trying to keep his three wives in check. If you need a refresher on the big moments from seasons 1-3, HBO has condensed it all into a five-minute video

Happy Birthday Rocky & Bullwinkle!

Fifty years ago today, ABC debuted the show featuring our favorite animated moose and squirrel, Rocky & Bullwinkle.

Or more formally, Rocket J. Squirrel and Bullwinkle J. Moose.

Remember?

Bullwinkle: Hey Rocky! Watch me pull a rabbit out of my hat.
Rocky: Again?
