Got an e-mail blast from Cravings, A Maternity Boutique in North Hills. Sounds like the store is packed with tons of new fall merchandise. Store owner Kim Seymour says she has more than 80 pairs of pants, cords and slacks, 40 dresses and 120 shirts, tops, tunics, blouses and sweaters. And she has more than 10 styles of jeans, which is a lot considering they're all maternity styles.

I'm speaking from experience here, get your maternity clothes before you a) get too big to want to shop or b) are in a jam and don't have a thing to wear and no time to shop. (Trust me when I say you really will want something that makes you feel and look cute those last few weeks when you feel as if you are as big as a house and think you won't get any bigger ... but you do!)
That said, Cravings, A Maternity Boutique in North Hills just got in a ton of fall clothes by some of the best brands in the maternity wear business, including Olian (chic tops and flattering bottoms!), Noppies (the all-important black pant which you will wear our during your pregnancy), Paige Premium Denim (new Laurel Canyon -- shown here -- in a new wash), Maternal America jeans (including straight leg and boot cut styles and a "to-die-for comfortable" waistband), Michael Stars (new colors and styles) and Amon Maternity (support, support, support).
Belly Bundles, the online consignment store for maternity wear based in North Raleigh, will have an open house April 30 to show off spring and summer collections. Just heard from Ele Wells Roberts, the owner of the new Love in Bloom maternity store off Lake Boone Trail in Raleigh. She said she's hoping to have the store open Saturday.
Roberts, a retail vet and former marketer, seems to have a real eye for cute maternity clothes. She's got many of the established names in maternity, including Olian and Japanese Weekend. But she'll also stock some names that are new to the market, including Christian Siriano's new maternity line Fierce Mamas.
The store is located at The Market Place at Lake Boone on Lake Boone Trail.
Being someone who loves clothes and being seven months pregnant, I was excited to hear about a new maternity boutique opening soon in Raleigh.
