What to Watch on Monday: Final season of 'The Closer' begins

The Bachelorette (8pm, ABC) - Ashley arrives in Taiwan with six bachelors, and she'll send two of them home. Also tonight, Emily Maynard talks to host Chris Harrison about the end of her relationship with "Bachelor" Brad Womack.

Born Bad (8pm, Lifetime) - A teen (Bonnie Dennison) moves with her family to a new town, where she becomes smitten with a charming guy (Michael Welch), who soon unveils a menacing dark side.

Inside the Actors Studio (8pm, Bravo) - Jennifer Anniston talks to James Lipton about her life and career.

The Closer (9pm, TNT) - The seventh and final season begins with Brenda (Krya Sedgwick) investigating the shootings of a rap star and six bystanders, and fighting a civil suit targeting her and the whole department. Also, Chief Delk (Courtney B. Vance) is ready to announce huge organizational changes in the department.

Man vs. Wild (9pm, Discovery) - Actor Jake Gyllenhaal embarks on a grueling arctic trek with Bear Grylls, traveling where Bear travels and eating what Bear eats. Just don't hurt that face!

Warehouse 13 (9pm, Syfy) - In the Season 3 premiere, a rock legend's guitar becomes a menace in Jersey City, and Artie and Claudia run into an ATF agent who has a knack for knowing when people are lying.

Rizzoli & Isles (10pm, TNT) - Season 2 opens with Rizzoli (Angie Harmon) recovering from last season's shooting, and being saluted as a hero at a public event. An act of violence at the tribute ceremony pulls Rizzoli back into the job, and also causes her to reconnect with a former beau, who may be able to help mend some of her emotional wounds.

Law & Order: Los Angeles (10pm, NBC) - In the series' final episode, a man is found dead at UCLA and it might be the result of protecting his sister, who is a star soccer player.

Alphas (10pm, Syfy) - In the pilot of this new series following a team of people with extraordinary abilities who investigate crimes linked to others like them, ominous messages steer a man to a building's rooftop, where he executes an improbable shooting. Our review here

What to Watch on Saturday: Golf, cats, and bear poop

Housecat Housecall (10:30am, Animal Planet) - The episode we wrote about a couple weeks ago with Carrie Ann Inaba from "Dancing with the Stars" airs this morning. Here's our interview with Carrie Ann, in which she talks about her five cats and how Dr. Katrina Warren helped her and her boyfriend solve some of their cat issues.

US Open (4:30pm, NBC) - The third round of play in this major from Pebble Beach starts at 4:30 and goes on about all night. Snooze.

Three Rivers (8pm, CBS) - A female firefighter must decide if she wants to donate part of her lung to her captain, who mistreats her.

Dad's Home (9pm, Hallmark) - David James Elliot plays a single ad exec who loses his job and becomes a stay-at-home dad.

Man vs. Wild (9pm, Discovery) - Bear Grylls (left) recounts his top 25 moments from the show. I hope one his top moments is that time he ate a piece of apple he found in some bear poop.

"Man vs. Food" features Durham "Doughman Challenge" tonight

"Man vs. Food" host Adam Richman came to Durham recently to recruit a team for "The Doughman Challenge." That's a quadrathlon with four-member teams competing in a relay of running, swimming, biking, and of course, eating. Adam held local tryouts to fill out the other members of his team.

The race hits five local eateries in all, beginning at Blu Seafood and ending at Daisy Cakes cupcake shop.
