After sweeping the regular season titles, Bunn also swept the Northern Carolina 2A Conference tournament titles.

Cary Academy repeats Heritage volleyball invitational

The Cary Academy volleyball team repeated its title as champions of the Heritage Invitational on Saturday, knocking off New Bern in the title game 26-24, 25-20 and 25-21.

NCHSAA dual-team wrestling regionals

Tonight marks the regional round in the 2-A, 3-A and 4-A dual-team wrestling playoffs with the championship set for Saturday. The 1-A dual-team wrestling regionals and championship will be held on Saturday.

All matches are held at school sites:

NCHSAA dual-team wrestling playoffs

Today starts the wrestling dual-team playoffs. Teams meet in four-team pods today, with the advancing team moving on to Thursday for another four-team pod. The state championships will be held at school sites on Saturday.

North-South Christmas Classic to be played as scheduled, Wednesday & Thursday

The 2010 North-South Christmas Classic is on as scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday of this week at South Johnston High School. Competing teams include co-hosts South Johnston and North Johnston, along with Louisburg and Rocky Mount Prep.
