TyraTech, a Florida company that develops food to fight internal parasites in people and animals, is relocating its headquarters to Morrisville.
The move will bring 105 jobs to Wake County.
The company cited the Triangle's high-quality universities as the main reason for the move.
“One of the key drivers to make the move to the Triangle area are the educational institutions and universities, especially N.C. State which has very strong programs in entomology and veterinary sciences which we hope to draw upon as we expand,” said Alan Reade, executive chairman for TyraTech, in a release.
