What to Watch on Saturday: An Obama introduction for 'To Kill a Mockingbird'

To Kill A Mockingbird (8pm, USA) - A special introduction from President Obama marks the 50th anniversary of this Oscar-winning classic film, which was adapted from Harper Lee's Pulitzer Prize-winning novel. In the film, Gregory Peck plays Atticus Finch, a small town lawyer who defends a black man wrongly accused of raping a white woman in 1930s Alabama. Robert Duvall made his screen debut in this film, as the mysterious Boo Radley. In other words, YOU SHOULD WATCH THIS, even if you've seen it before. The President also introduced the film at a special White House screening on Thursday, at which Washington, D.C., schoolchildren and the widow of Gregory Peck were in attendance.

iCarly (8pm, Nickelodeon) - Carly gets sick and transmits her illness to a member of the British pop group, One Direction (who also perform tonight on SNL).

Must Love Cats (8pm, Animal Planet) - John Fulton visits an Oregon woman who taught her cats how to swim and a cat hotel in Los Angeles.

Saturday Night Live (11:29pm, NBC) - Sofia Vergara from "Modern Family" hosts and the music guest is One Direction.

Must Love Cats (8pm, Animal Planet) - Host John Fulton takes a trip to New York's Hamptons to meet a personal chef for cats. Okay, even I think that's crazy. Also, a fashion designer for cats in New Jersey (crazy) and a cat  that needed a kidney transplant (not crazy).

Seattle Superstorm (9pm, Syfy) - A movie about a scientist and a soldier who must save the world from deadly storms triggered by a UFO that crashed in Seattle's Puget Sound.

Beverly's Full House (10pm, OWN) - In the premiere of a new reality series, former model Beverly Johnson opens her Palm Springs, California, home to her daughter, plus-size model Anansa Sims, son-in-law David Patterson (an NFL alum) and baby granddaughter.

Good news. Season 4 of "Live from the Artists Den" begins tonight on UNC-TV. Well, actually it airs on Sunday morning at 1 a.m. (which is when all Season 4 episodes will air).

But either way, you're going to want to record it.

The first episode features an intimate concert by Adele. Other artists featured this season are Death Cab for Cutie, The Fray, Amos Lee (with Calexico), Kid Rock, and Iron and Wine.

The good people at Artists Den sent us a really cool prize pack to give to a lucky reader. The pack includes a Death Cab for Cutie t-shirt (size Large), a cd of "Arists Den vol. I" featuring Ed Harcourt, David Poe, Motel Bed and others, and a dvd of The Swell Season's performance on the show from 2008.

To win, send me an email with your mailing address by midnight on Wednesday, April 4, and we'll randomly select a winner.

Good luck!
