I'm giving away a copy of "Restaurant Man" by Joe Bastianich. He is the son of Lidia Bastianich of Lidia's Italy fame and the very successful business partner of chef Mario Batali. You may recognize him as one of three judges on Fox's Master Chef; he's the intimidating silent one.
He's a key figure in the New York restaurant scene. Think: Babbo, Del Posto, Esca, Eataly and more. For that reason, I found the book compelling. Just so you know, you're in for 275 machismo-laced pages. His version of Restaurant Man includes many allusions to indiscretions with the coat check girl.
Leave a comment below this post before noon May 11. Good luck!
UPDATE: I just learned that Kitty Kinnin on 100.7 The River will be airing an interview with Bastianich at 7:10 a.m. Monday, May 7. So tune in!
