Submitted by timstevens on 08/29/2008 - 13:27RALEIGH — Leesville Road scored 29 points in the third period to rally from a nine-point deficit and win the non-conference football game on Thursday night.
“Our first half was atrocious,” said Leesville coach David Green. “We had a nice 90-yard drive, but didn’t do much offensively or defensively in the first two periods.
Leesville trailed 15-7 at the half, before Leesville scored on three short runs, on Zach Greene’s 85-yard kickoff return and Zach Gentry’s seven-yard run.
