2010 Tri-Nine All-Conference volleyball

The Tri-Nine all-conference volleyball teams were released, and it should be of no surprise that undefeated state champion Apex took home a number of honors. The Cougars swept the coach and player of the year awards and placed two more on the first team.

Upperclassmen became the theme of this year's list as all but six selections were seniors.

On the Recruiting Front: Anderson, Harris, Kearns,

Brandi Anderson, junior, Holly Springs volleyball

Golden Hawks volleyball player Brandi Anderson has committed to Western Carolina. Anderson (pictured left), is a 6-4 middle blocker/outside hitter, still has one more year of high school before she can become a Catamount.

Holly Springs was 6-14 this past season.

Kris Harris, junior, Apex volleyball

Kris Harris (pictured right), has been a key part to the success of Apex's volleyball program over the past two seasons, has committed to Elon. Harris will be a senior at Apex next season.

The Cougars were 20-4 this past season.

Alston Kearns, junior, Apex volleyball
