There are three core styles of Lifetime movies: the woman in peril, the crazy killer woman, and the woman on a crusade.

"Bond of Silence" (Lifetime, 9 tonight) falls into the last category, telling the inspired by actual events story of a mother trying to find out who killed her husband.

It stars Kim Raver ("24, " "Lipstick Jungle"), as Katy, a mother of young twins, in a loving marriage with Bob (David Cubitt), a lawyer and serious cyclist. One New Year's Eve, Bob and Katy are having a party at their home with two other couples. Their neighbors across the street have gone out of town, leaving their teen son. He has a party too, that quickly turns into a drunken fest for the local kids.

Vampire Diaries (8pm, CW) - Damon tells Stefan the real reason why he returned to Mystic Falls. Stefan is stunned, so I'm assuming it has something to do with Virginia tourism.

Community (8pm, NBC) - I'm still singing last week's awesome "Gettin' Rid of Britta" in my head and hoping for another classic moment tonight. Sounds promising: Abed's films seem to predict the future, and Pierce (Chevy Chase) tries to help Britta quit smoking.

The Office (9pm, NBC) - Another episode about office rumors???

Grey's Anatomy (9pm, ABC) - Kim Raver ("24" "Lipstick Jungle") joins Seattle Grace as an Iraq war veteran who also happens to be a cardiothoracic surgeon. Also, Izzie returns with her high school mentor (Joel Grey), who is seeking treatment for dementia.

Project Runway (10pm, Lifetime) - Tonight is part one of a two-part season finale. The final three designers prepare for a Bryant Park Runway Show under the watchful eye of mentor Tim Gunn.
